Would highly recommend AGAINST renting here
February 6, 2020I would highly recommend not renting at the apartment complex. From the bugs outside all of the breezeways, to the bugs swarming in front of the mailboxes- yuck! There are fees for everything so you will not only be paying rent but additional fees that they do not make you aware of. 2.95% additional to pay rent on their website but they offer it as a “perk” that they have a site online. They let us move in on a Sunday and didn’t express that there would be a fee for not having electric until the ...next day. Staff is atrocious. Nightmare.
February 20, 2018I normally do not write reviews unless I have had a really wonderful experience or in this case a truly horrifying one. Read all the reviews. This is really not a place you want to live. Let me just start with the fact that the walls in the apartments at Aluna Largo are super thin. You will hear every little noise and thump that goes on around you. Peace and quiet? Nope not here. It is almost like the place shakes. All day and night. Beyond, what you think is noisy. Just that alone warns you not ...to live here. Very rude neighbors who just don’t seem to care about anything but themselves. Management can’t do anything for you here. So forget that. A few of my neighbors have extremely overly aggressive dogs. Nope, the breed restriction doesn’t apply here either regardless of what they tell you. Get your FL. CCW because in Florida you can kill a dog that you feel is threating you. I work with lawyers all day so I know that is well within the law and your rights. (Research that). I almost had to. The bug thing is real. Swarms and swarms of nats. Unbelievable how many there are really. Certain months you can’t be outside of the apartments. And yes there is Section 8 there too. That really didn’t bother me because poor people have to live somewhere too. But some of them here just need to learn some manners and get off the drugs. The gate never worked just like people said. It would be on one day and off the next week or month. It is just a business, once you sign that least they own you, and you are stuck. Bunch of crooks. 1 month in and we knew this placed was cursed. Lovely Lake View
September 29, 2015My apartments are full of friendly people, willing to help their neighbors without hesitation or payment. It has a nice pool where my daughter took her first swim and my view from my 2nd floor window is beautiful! I get to see the sunset, the lake, the birds and turtles, the stars. It's quiet and I absolutely love it here. The closet spaces aren't too shabby either ;)Review from Apartments.com

August 14, 2015The Lake, the view of the lake from my apartment and the square footage are the only things that Aluna Largo apts have going for them. It needs to be painted - was supposed to be painted the beginning of 2014. The stairs and hallways are very dirty and dark. The nat problem due to a lake without a water fountain is huge. There are multiple water retention areas that are dirty as well. Getting maintenance help is never quick. They finally have a decent maintenance guy on their staff now, ...but it is still quite a wait. I have lived there for 3 yrs, but will not renew next time. August 9, 2015This is a beautiful one bedroom with a view of the lake washer/dryer hookup large bathroom and up to date kitchen it is close to Walmart I caught center and banks couple miles away from the beach it's a very nice community gated community to live in and also pet friendly. but sad to say it is too expensive.Review from Apartments.com
