Amazing Customer Service
December 11, 2021Let’s start with I was apartment shopping all day Saturday. I came across The Amberly’s. Joni helped me with no problems. She toured me and informed me what was available and gave me next steps. I didn’t pull the trigger because I wanted an upper level unit and at the time she didn’t have one so I kept on my journey. I went to one of their sisters properties and honestly it was nice however it was dated compared to The Amberly. They actually had an upper unit available for immediate ...occupancy so I asked could I see that unit just to get a feel of how it would look. The young lady said yes however I would have to mask up as well as put booties on due to the unit being cleaned and move in ready. I said of course. Once she went in the office to get some booties someone in the office informed her that she couldn’t do it. So she relayed the info so I didn’t pull the trigger. I called The Amberly on Monday and I spoke with Ms Erica (Site Manager) who was very pleasant. I wanted to know if she had any upper units coming up. She looked and informed me as of now no. I told her about my experience at her sister property and she asked me to give her a second to call over there and she will call me back. She called me back within 10 mins and said the Site Manager will allow me to visit the unit since it is fully ready. I was ecstatic. I went back to the unit and viewed it. It was nice but I kept thinking about The Amberly unit. So I called once again The Amberly and asked could I view the unit one more time so I could make a decision. She said of course. I went back over and the unit was as beautiful as I remembered so now I’m stuck again. I’m thinking do I just get the lower unit or do I go to the sister property. As we were talking Ms Erica brought to my attention that she has a bigger unit available which would give me a fireplace as well as the upper plus basement. Obviously it was more but definitely a good suggestion. Long story short I ended up getting the larger unit and I’ll be moving in late January. I will say this property gives great customer service. From Joni to Ms Erica. Joni stayed in touch with me ensuring she had all the necessary documents to process my application. My application was processed in one day! Overall I wanted to share my experience with you because often we share the less pleasant experiences but not often enough the over and beyond experience. Great experience
February 13, 2019I have lived at the Amberly apartments for almost a year now and have only good things to say about my experience. The office staff have been extremely kind and accommodating to me, the pool area was always very clean over the summer and everytime I have had to put in a maintenance request (which over the year has only been 4 or so times) they have responded within 24 hours. I put a maintenance request in this week on Monday and when I got home after work they had already been there and the two ...small issues were corrected. The neighborhood is very nice and the snow removal service this year and been great too. Carbon Monoxide leak
April 6, 2018I am a new resident at Amberly Apts in West Bloomfield as of Monday, April 2, 2018. my family and I feel the regional Mgr for Amberly Apts in West Bloomfield, MI has handled our carbon monoxide leak issue with no sensitivity. The day I received the keys to the new apt, while moving in that evening my friend and I smelled gas, we left immediately after and I feared carbon monoxide was present. I called the emergency Maintanence number, they said they would call someone and as a disclaimer, we ...should call consumers energy. Consumers said to evacuate immediately and told Amberly Maintanence to shut the furnace off. Amberly never told us that it was a CM leak, consumers did, Amberly replaced the furnace but did not contact Consumers to finalized us returning to the apt, so we called them to do so. We were not able to move in completely until Wednesday night because of the delay with the CM leak. The regional Mgr took 8 hours to return our call about this. We lost time and money and had no where to go. I have a 16 month old baby and we all could have lost our lives and your regional Mgr said “we should be happy to be alive” “if you want to break the lease today and move you can” that was so unprofessional and heartless because she knew about me having a small child so it’s more difficult to move and that our old place time was up. She had no compassion and did not offer compensation for lost time and money we spent in this situation. We told her we want to talk to her superior, she has failed to get back with us. Overall a great place
March 1, 2018I've lived at Amberly for almost 4 years. Being new to Michigan I was unsure what to expect compared to a previous apartment community I lived in - relocated from another state. Over the course of years I've lived there I've found the surrounding area to be very safe, clean and offering many goods and services within a short driving distance. As for the apartment community itself while there have been a few maintenance issues over the years the staff has always responded quickly and ...completely even under difficult circumstances. Does not provide luxury
February 15, 2018I've lived in this "LUXURY" Community for 16 months and they do not offer the luxury experience they claim to provide. Amberley' s idea of luxury comes with a variety of bugs that are also enjoying the "luxury" with you centipedes, Bee's, rolly pokies, and spiders. As well as natural rain in the apartment you will enjoy a heavy rain in your living room and if you are really special you will enjoy multiple leaks in the same spots that they "fixed" fixed prior. They will also not fix any thing. The ...same things in the apartment break consistently and as you live here the list gets longer. Also i hope you like intruders because they will come into your apartment when ever they like. If you're home you cannot answer your own door befor they just barge in. If you are not home they will not inform you that they are comming they will just come into your home as they please. Inhuman to Cats
