Cannot recommend
March 27, 2023Basically did a bait & switch. Showed us the model, gave us an apartment that was not in even remotely the same condition. Wouldn't let us transfer despite needing to for health & safety reasons. Mold is a major issue at this complex.Review from Apartments.com
Poor customer service
February 27, 2019My fiancé and I went to go see this apartment and I have never had such a poor experience dealing with a leasing agent. We were greeted by Carlee, who was less than pleasant. She was very short with us and seemed bothered that we made an appearance, despite having an appointment. She took us to see the apartment and it had an old, dingy smell to it. Carlee rushed through the whole showing, and we essentially had to guide ourselves through the unit. There were appliances missing - which is ...honestly the least of my worries - from the demo. The entire experience was just so uncomfortable and we felt very unwelcome, as if we were disturbing her day. It was a turn off from the moment we walked in and decided on another apartment because of this experience. Very disappointing.Property Manager Responded

Not the best
September 27, 2016I have lived here for quite some time, when I first moved in I realized the neighborhood is terrible. Police are constantly here, and when I say that I mean almost everyday. Also the neighbors are very noisy and also nosey. The smallest little detail is accounted for there is no privacy. And apparently the staff can come into your apartment whenever they like, I learned that after I got a phone call from them. Very displeased. Also people here violate the rules all the time. The staff is quite ...rude as well. I would not recommend this place to anyone. And after living here for a year they will up your rent(they do this for everyone).Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Avoid this place like plague
April 25, 2016Very bad experience. Availability information does not match what has been displayed on the website. Applied for 4/7 move-in but was told "renovations needed" and postponed to 4/16. After move-in, multiple items were still missing/damaged (missing lock, missing window shade rod, damaged washer), have to open 3 tickets to fix them. On advertisement there are washer/dryer in the apartment, however no hookups are available, thus they cannot be used. Opened maintenance tickets twice regarding the ...same issue, marked as "fixed" but issue never get resolved. Very angry about this. I would give negative 5 if there is such option. Country Setting
July 26, 2015I really enjoy living here. The management, and staff are very friendly, and have done a good job with any questions I have had. I enjoy the activities in the summer, and the pool is very nice. My neighbors are friendly and the area of my building is a pretty view and quiet. I like the Douglassville area and glad I came here. Low rents and great service!
October 9, 2014I was skeptical when I came to the community seven months ago. There was a roofing project happening and some needed cosmetic repairs outside. I went on a small tour of the community with the leasing person and was pleasantly surprised of all the amenities inside the apartment. The space inside the two bedroom show room was perfect for me to see as this was my first move into an apartment. The person showing me around also went out of their way to show me the exact apartment that was being ...maintenanced. What a mess but it looked great when I moved in. I was on the phone almost weekly with the office staff getting my items delivered for the apartment and getting directions to places in the area. They were so kind to me no matter how many ways they had to explain it so I could understand. I was hoping to give my new home here at Amity Gardens five stars but they are not quite done with some of the projects like sidewalks and new doors.
