Disappointment and Heartbreak
January 3, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comYour experience at this property will be a direct reflection of your neighbors. My husband and I lived at this complex for nearly five years and loved our experience. The property is in convenient part of town, the property is well maintained, and the units themselves are spacious and nice. The maintenance team is phenomenal and not only responds quickly to any issues but performs a lot of preventative maintenance as well. Unfortunately our experience completely changed when we had a new neighbor ...move is above us. This neighbor was horrendously loud all the time, got into domestic screaming matches with his partner, constantly yelled at his kids, would sit on the back porch and casually talk on the phone about jumping people, would leave garbage cans full of empty hard alcohol bottles and dried vomit in the parking lot, would have loud gatherings and blare music in the middle of the week, and would be disrespectful to cops and maintenance staff when they got involved. When we brought our concerns to the management team at Andover their only solution was to call emergency maintenance so that the complaints could be verified and documented. We did this countless times over a span of months and, despite having tons of incidents documented and verified, nothing was done by the complex to the offenders. Everything came to a head when we had a meeting with a woman named Tamyka. This meeting was absolutely horrendous. For an hour, we were talked down to, condescended to, and completely invalidated. She made us feel completely unwelcome in our own community. In the end, Andover lost tenants who had been there nearly five years, paid rent on time every month, never had a complaint filed against them, and were told by maintenance that they were “ideal tenants that keep their apartment immaculate” in favor of a tenant that, in the 4-5 months he had been there, caused nonstop chaos on an entire building. So to say the least, rent at your own risk. If you get disrespectful, inconsiderate neighbors your life will be a living hell, just like ours was. We are GENUINELY and DEEPLY heartbroken about having to leave our apartment. We loved our individual unit, we loved the location, we had put down roots there with no intention of leaving anytime soon. Having to say goodbye to that apartment was super hard and we are still going through an awful grieving process in regards to being pushed out of a place we genuinely felt like was home.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded

June 11, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comMaintenance is wonderful, very helpful the few times I’ve had to call. Management is sincerely un-resourceful. Buildings are not locked, anyone can freely walk into your building. Multiple car break in, suspicious activity, and concerning events. Their only response is call the cops, and make notes of these events to the office. Management just re-states the lease agreement, leaving with no hope for safety. October 17, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comNot only is nothing included for the price of rent (you are responsible for all utilities), But if you have a problem with loud neighbors bad smells smoking in the buildings, etc, Management will do almost anything to get out of doing something about it. The company line is “maintenance needs to verify the issue before we can do anything“ And then maintenance will dispatch five hours later.
