March 12, 2026Maintenance is excellent,grounds keeping excellent , snow removal excellent. I had two emergency maintenance issues that where resolved quickly and efficiently. 3 minor issues dishwasher fridge and peeling ceiling paint that where resolved quickly. When you call they respond in a timely manner. The office staff is very professional. The maintenance crew is trustworthy.Overall the community as a whole is pretty good working class people. For the price it’s a good deal and well maintained. New ...heating systems and windows installed in the past two years also made a noticeable difference in utility bill.The parking is adequate.Property Manager Responded

Great place to live!
November 1, 2025I’ve really enjoyed my time living at Appleby Apartments. The community is quiet, and my neighbors have always been friendly and respectful. The maintenance staff is excellent — they respond quickly and take care of any issues right away. Lynette and the leasing staff are always friendly, professional, and accommodating, which has made living here a great experience. If I didn’t have to move, I would absolutely stay. May 25, 2017I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, parking is a big issue and poor insulation of cheap windows and doors. Expect your electric bill to be $200-$400 a month. also, if you decide to rent and your lease renawal is due, Expect your rent to go up $70 and up. Again I wouldn't recommend Appleby apt. November 14, 2015We have lived here over a year and it has been terrible. We haven't had one good night sleep due to the neighbors parties and having people live with them who aren't on the lease. We take appraise action to tell the office but it just seems that they make it harder for us to live here. There child is equally horrific he pounds on the floor all day long. I call them sonic booms because they are so loud. Our car was vandalized in the parking lot and my son's carseat was drenched in beer on one ...of the nights of their loud obnoxious perties. They drenched my balcony for a whole month with brown fluid and didn't stop until the maintenence guy asked them to stop. Three apartments burnt out in the middle of the night due to a fire. A maintenence guy entered our home shortly after we moved in without a work order. I had just put my baby down to nap and had just gotten out of the shower and I screamed and had to go lock myself in my son's bedroom. They play booming music round the clock and in their home. This place cost way to much to live in and all the things you have to put up with it is just not worth it. If you have a problem and talk to the office they won't do anything about it. Home at Appleby Apts
October 10, 2015Apple by apts is a great place to live. Kids can play safely on the fenced property. The apts are spacious and there are plenty of windows to allow light in. The kitchens are a little tight but they serve the purpose. I also like the location. Close to park, 95 , and the Mall. Not a bad place to call home
August 6, 2015The apartment is very quiet but if your neighbor is a smoker it smell in yours apartment and clothes. The Kitchen is extremly small just enough to fix one person at a time. I use to enjoy living here until the my rent increase and cirgarette smoke from others units. The Perfect First Apartment
August 7, 2015My boyfriend and I moved into Applebee Apartments together in January- and we couldn't be happier. The apartment is the perfect size for both of us and our 2 cats. The kitchen has many cabinets and plenty of counter space, which we love because we cook every night. The laundry room (yes! we have a laundry room! yay!) is small but we're also able to use it for storage, and we even put up another shelf. The bathroom is roomy enough to put an over-the-toilet storage unit, and always works perfectly; ...the water pressure is fantastic by the way. The bedroom fits my full bed, a large, wide dresser, a desk, a tall dresser, and a large nightstand. The closet is perfect for both of us and has overhead storage which really helps. The living room fits our standard size couch, loveseat, coffee table, bookshelf, kitty litter corner, and large reptile tank, and on the far wall is our kitchen table and 4 chairs. There's carpet everywhere except the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, and entrance area, that also has a large closet for all of our many shoes and winter coats, as well as large boxes for appliances and such. And lastly, the lovely patio! We have a huge wicker chair, outdoor rug, 2 plastic chairs and an end table, right on the other side of the door! It continues around the corner where we keep many plants, including a few large pots, then there is another smaller rectangular area where we store bags of soil and such. We never have to call maintenance, my delivered packages are never bothered outside of the door, and we even got a new air conditioning system recently. No Place Like Home, My Appleby Home
July 25, 2015I moved to Delaware 3 years ago with my family into what we thought was a good complex. We soon learned the only building kept up was the rental office, maintenance was always backed up on order for a month at a time, the dumpster area was a complete eye sore, property agents were extremely rude, and community washer/dryers were hardly ever working. So I moved into my first apartment at Appleby last fall and that was the greatest investment I've made. The community is small so you don't feel like ...you're just another tenant. Everyone in the rental office is super friendly and willing to assist you. In fact, the property manager knows EVERYONE'S name! Maintenance orders are less than a 24 hour turn around and the grounds are always trimmed. Recently, Appleby changed the heating/cooling system to something more. energy efficient.
