Applegate Apartments is a fantastic choice in apartment living! The townhouses are spacious and include an attached 1 car garage. These townhouses include standard appliances plus dishwasher and in-unit washer and dryers. Nancy is a phenomenal manager for the community, and their maintenance staff is fast, friendly, and responsive.
Location is perfect, a mile from interstate 41, short drives to highways 441 and 10 as well as a few minutes from downtown Appleton.
If you’re new to the Appleton ...
area or are tired of poorly managed buildings, be sure to give Applegate Apartments a good look!

The location in Appleton is very good. Besides that I’ve had a very hard time living here. Never have gotten fined once for anything, and the property manager, Nancy, pushes you out of the door if she doesn’t like you. The management here is very rude and I’ve addressed it with corporate multiple times. It hasn’t been resolved and I can say this for many other tenants as well, we need a new property manager.

Nevertheless, I think I can count on one hand the number of times we have resorted to not renewing the lease of a resident. I am going to take the high road and not talk publicly about the reasons why your lease was not renewed, but suffice it to say that our patience with you was pushed far enough for us to ask you to leave the community. I am a new tenant at Applegate Apartments. I believe that in life, when we come across a person who is absolutely exceptional at what they do, who uses wisdom and superior judgment in the execution of their duties, and demonstrates a level of interpersonal connection and compassion above and beyond the requisite business interactions where and when appropriate - then such a person must be recognized for these rarely encountered attributes.
Heidi, the office manager at Applegate Apartments, ...
has fully fulfilled all of the qualities. Even with the limited extent of my interaction with her, her confidence, people skills, can-do attitude, and charismatic nature have made me feel fortunate that in my recent relocation from Minneapolis, MN I ended up renting from one of your properties. Given my transactions with her, I have full faith that Karademas will be an entirely positive experience for me and will meet or exceed my expectations as a tenant in every way.
Given that corporate management is remotely located from the Appleton office and Heidi's immediate supervisors aren't able to review her work on a day-to-day basis, I thought it pragmatic and deserved that the excellent image she gives to your corporation be acknowledged by the simple first impressions and experience of one of your new tenants. They are a decent place to live. Centrally located between downtown and the Fox River mall. You are located on the bus route (Valley Transit). Near multiple parks and just across the street from both a gas station and gym. Animals are allowed and garages are available at extra cost. Well kept Apartments and area in general. Applegate apartments come in either one bedroom or two bedroom with one bathrooms. Townhouses are also offered for around $700 a month those have 1.5 bathrooms, two bedrooms and an upstairs plus a garage. The apartments don't come with a garage but you can rent one for $35/month.
These apartments are about 40 years old, the hallways leading to your door are a bit gloomy and the carpet is usually dirty from snow but it's tolerable. The actual apartments are well maintained and the manager ...
repairs and repaints the apartments before the new tenant moves in. Each apartment comes with a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove/oven. They come with kitchen cabinets and plenty of storage space as well as a storage closet in your living room.
All utilities are included EXCEPT for electricity. Heat is available through a thermostat which uses electricity and can run you about $150 in the winter if you keep your place at 70 degrees, in my experience.
These apartments are close to a grocery store and 2 miles down the street is the mall, Walmart and Target. There is a bus stop going to the college and going to down town right out of this street. The neighbors are all quiet. The manager, Jason, is very easy going and nice and this was my first apartment and though I had no previous rental history he took a chance on me and I've not let him down.
Lease terms are 6 months, 1 year, or you could also work with Jason on a month to month basis with 60 day notice. This means you pay by the month but if you are going to move out in October, for example, you must notify him in May.
Lastly,
Rent ranges from $530 - $725
One bedroom, one den (also a room but doesn't have a window) = $530
Two bedroom $585
Townhouse two bedroom, 1.5 bathroom = ~$725
All utilities included EXCEPT electricity. First floor and second floor available. Nice looking brick apartments.
