I’m sharing my experience so prospective residents have a better understanding of what living here may be like.
One challenge I’ve experienced has been with maintenance. I reported that my dryer was not drying properly multiple times and was initially told it was being used incorrectly. After several visits, it was eventually discovered that the dryer had never been vented. Once the vent was installed, the issue was resolved.
During that repair, a section of my bathroom ceiling was cut open ...
with the understanding that it would be repaired and painted afterward, but the repair was never completed.
More recently, I reported a water leak coming through the ceiling in another bathroom. The issue has been inspected multiple times, but it has not yet been repaired, and I currently keep a bucket underneath to catch the water.
In addition, residents have been informed that non-renewals may be issued in situations involving late rent. While lease obligations are important, situations involving financial hardship can be difficult for families.
I encourage anyone considering living here to carefully review the lease terms and understand how maintenance requests and late payment situations may be handled.
