Worst Apartments
March 30, 2026The upkeep of these apartments are disgusting. 1. Trash Removal. You are charging for a service that is not performed properly. 2. Smoke free property which reeks of marijuana. 3. Pest control. Can't be maintained if the exterior of the apartment us worse than the interior. 4. Management dont know what is going on the entire time the Mailbox was out of order the laundry room the weight area. The pool was never clean. They only mowed the grass the property was disgusting no upkeep. They never ...repaired any maintenance issues because they can't keep workers. The manager of the property don't know anything. Unresponsive and Unprofessional
November 6, 2025- Maintenance Requests Ignored We requested service more than a year ago, and they never showed up. - Package Stuck for Over a Month One of our orders was stuck in their delivery box for more than a month, and we were unable to retrieve it. We eventually had to purchase a replacement, leaving us with an extra, unnecessary order and wasted money. - Poor Communication We emailed management many times, but they rarely responded. When they finally did, the replies were unhelpful or unrelated to the ...actual issue. - Terrible Customer Service & System Issues Their system is disorganized and unreliable. Yet they are very quick to charge late fees—even when delays are due to their own system problems or lack of response. - Hidden & Extra Fees Before signing anything, be ready for unexpected fees that will make your rent much higher than what you were told. - Overall Experience If you're ready to deal with all of this, go ahead and sign their contract. My Virtual Tour
October 11, 2025We will soon be moving from California to Texas, and while we recently traveled to Texas for the purpose of viewing some properties on our list, however, we were unable to physically tour The Arboretum as our GPS was being stubborn and taking us everywhere but to our desired location. We were on a schedule and had to catch our flight back home the next day. Upon our return to California, I received an email from Glenn at The Arboretum Estates, with the invitation to a virtual tour. I really ...enjoyed and appreciated the tour and Glenn's presentation of each room, as well as the Community areas, including the swimming pool and BBQ area and grounds, provided me with a clear idea and feel of the unit and the property :D From that point forward, we have been in constant communication, with Glenn and The Arboretum, getting through each step, from the application to signing the lease, and finalizing arrangements for the trip to our new home. Thank you, Arboretum Estates, and a special thank you to Glenn. His exceptional professionalism, courtesy, knowledge and patience (I ask a lot of questions lol) is commendable and his assistance, guidance and thoughtfulness throughout this process has made the preparation for our move as stress-free as possible (considering the circumstances).Property Manager Responded

Bugs problem
October 24, 2024I regret moving into these Apartments. From the day I moved in, l've had nothing but issues with bugs. The infestation is unbearable-roaches, ants, and even bedbugs. No matter how clean I keep the apartment, the pests keep coming back. I've reported it multiple times to management, but their response has been slow and ineffective. They send an exterminator, but the problem persists. What's worse, the infestation seems to be in the entire building, so it's not just my unit. I've spoken to other ...tenants who are experiencing the same thing. It's clear that they aren't taking this seriously enough. Living here has been a constant battle, and it's affecting my health and peace of mind. I strongly advise against moving into this apartment unless you enjoy sharing your space with unwanted creepy-crawlies. Avoid at all costs!Property Manager Responded

Don’t move here.
June 15, 2024Me and my family just moved here & we can’t WAIT to move out. There’s a lot to say about these apartments. The most irritating thing that you will have to deal with if you move here is that nobody answers the leasing office phone or the phone goes straight to voicemail; therefore, you have to KEEP going to the leasing office just to talk to someone. You put in work orders and it takes forever for someone to come fix it. It’s like the leasing agents are just there at the desk just to be there. And ...I understand if the maintenance team is behind because of all the work orders; however, that means work on hiring more people or figure out some type of solution. The team at the front desk act like they care, but doesn’t seem to have any type of urgency behind them. They will tell you they’ll follow up with you and don’t. I shouldn’t have to always go to the property manager for things to get done. Everything will seem all good and together when you first talk to someone about moving in or showing any type of interest but it’s nothing but a lot of miscommunication or no communication at all after the fact. It’s been nothing but a HEADACHE and STRESSFUL since moving here. The only positive thing is that we were able to deal with the property manager to get what we needed done. However, we shouldn’t have to go through the PM to always get things done for something as simple as a call back, follow up or even the maintenance team to come fix something that’s already either old, broken or thrown together. And if they see this review, please don’t comment saying to reach out to the leasing office to talk to someone about making it better because nobody will even answer the phone for that to happen or even really care.Property Manager Responded

Its not great
March 9, 2022I lived here for 3 years. It has become very expensive for the types of rooms they rent. Mine had water damage and the floors flexed and squished underfoot. They also had some frustrating billing practices. They changed the payment website several times which disabled my auto pay. The water bill showed up on a different day almost every month for the first two years I lived here. They also charged me for not updating proof of insurance which would have been fine, except that they didnt notify me ...that I needed to update my proof of insurance. When we had the winter storm she checked on all our residents & when Covid hit she definitely worked with residents who weren’t able to make ends meet financially due to being laid off. BEST PLACE EVER!!
August 8, 2019If you are looking for a place that has peace and quiet and the most beautiful apartments, you have found the right place! I am big on patio living and entertaining on my patio and the patios are HUGE here! I go out there every morning to sit and drink my coffee, it is so quiet and peaceful. June 20, 2019This has been my favorite place to live! The office staff are always super sweet and helpful. We love the layout of our apartment and the rent is very reasonable. When we renewed our lease they didn't try to take advantage of us (which is unheard of in DFW)! They only increased it about 10 a month. April 7, 2019...Been a resident here for 1.5 years....had a kitchen sink disposal problem that needed repair. I reported it...it was addressed and fixed in 48-60 hours!
