Incompetent
June 16, 2023If you have no problems I'm sure it's fine here, but if you have problems don't expect a resolution. The first few months living here was ok. We didn't have a door to our second bedroom for months and the paint on most things had that typical landlord flair (quickly done and closed the doors after painting the frames so they stuck together). Then in December our roof started to leak. We told them asap and it was like pulling teeth to try to get a response, especially more than "we are having a ...hard time with contractors." We *think* the roof itself might have been repaired mid April, but despite our asking multiple times management hasn't confirmed it with us yet. It is currently mid-end of June. Our ceiling is still bulging and hasn't been fixed. I have allergies to certain kinds of mold and I can tell that some is growing in the ceiling as it has been triggering my asthma. Also when it rains some of the parking lots flood really bad and the storm drains get clogged which makes it worse. We are looking forward to leaving when our lease is up soon.Property Manager Responded

Good Community in affordable rent
July 12, 2021Good community with sufficient play areas for kids. Kids have enough place to roam around in bike without stepping on roads. We love the pools. Best of all, friendly staff in the office and excellent maintenance team.Property Manager Responded

Poor management
August 21, 2020Management is hardly ever in they close early due to unforeseen circumstances quite often. We had a dryer that didn't work and it was delivered on July 14th it is now August 21st I still have the same broken dryer sitting here and that's after multiple in person visits to office and phone calls. Great staff and clean property
January 5, 2019We have lived in the arbors since 2015, the staff has always been good to us. Last year we decided we wanted to do a townhome and they moved us quickly no questions asked. We enjoy the townhome! They have 2 pools one for kids which is great, a clubhouse which we use to rent out when we host a family gathering and the playground for the kids. Only downfall.. they dont offer 3 bedrooms. We have loved staying here but this year I think we need to make a move since our family has grew!Property Manager Responded

Good house
October 18, 2017I'm glad I didn't take all of the reviews online too seriously. I moved in during July and Heather was awesome to work with. I was moving from Texas so I was unable to do a lot of things in person. She helped me with video tours, sent me applications, etc. She even recommended places that I could go to get decorations for new house, good restaurants, and popular places for young professionals to hang out. I have had some maintenance issues since moving in but have been handled all fast. I always ...am seeing maintenance men working on planting flowers, spreading grass seed, trimming trees, picking up trash, and working around the property. I have been very impressed so far and have recommended many of my friends from work to also sign leases here. I will renew my lease for 1 more year when my contract is extended.Property Manager Responded

Great location, even better price!
June 15, 2017Let me preface this by saying most reviews left are by people who have a sour taste in their mouth, be it not paying their rent on time, or poor housekeeping practices. When I lived in Bloomington, The Arbors was great. Perfect location, competitive prices, amenities, you name it. The office ladies really care and take time to make sure needs are met. Horrible place to live!!
August 17, 2016I have been living here for a little under two months, and this is absolutely the worst place I have ever lived! The property manager could care less about what's going on. I have had 3 incidents with this place so far, none of which were resolved at a satisfactory level. I'm hoping this last incident will allow me to move elsewhere because I just can't imagine what these next 10 months are going to bring. I will say that the office staff are very nice and helpful and I am very grateful for the ...help that they were capable of providing to me. ***update*** I would love to say that my opinion about this place has changed, but unfortunately that is not the case. Since my last review, I have encountered another incident that I had before at this place. My apartment flooded about 3 weeks ago and I was told that I would be able to move to another unit. At that time I expressed that I was concerned about how I would have some trouble with moving expenses as I would have no one to help me move. Initially, I saved up to hire movers. They told me they had to get the ok from the owners. 3 weeks ago. Fast forward to 2 days ago, my apt flooded AGAIN!! Still no answer from the owners. Meanwhile, my 6 & 1 yr old are being subjected to breathing in mold fumes and possibly slipping and falling while getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom because it had rained. I'm inclined to believe that prior to me moving in, they already knew that my apt was prone to flooded because they have 3 other units on my (ground) floor and they haven't put anyone else in them and from the looks of it, haven't been for a while. Not the best
October 11, 2015i wouldn't honestly recommend this place to anybody. Granted it's close to major places such as work, supermarkets, mall & hospital. The apartment itself hasn't been well kept. You can tell, I've also have had water backed up into my apartment from outside. Maintenance is not the best. I'm definitely moving once my lease is up.Review from Apartments.com
