Unsanitary Living Conditions and Ongoing Pest and Pet Waste Issues at Arcadia at StoneCrest
June 28, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comWould not recommend Arcadia at Stonecrest based on my experience living here. The overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property have become seriously concerning. There has been a persistent issue with cockroaches in and around the building that does not appear to be adequately addressed. Despite raising concerns, the problem continues, and it feels like pest control efforts are either inconsistent or ineffective. In addition, common areas and walkways frequently smell strongly of dog urine, ...and there are multiple spots where it is visibly not being cleaned up properly. On top of that, dog waste is also often left on the grounds and not consistently picked up, which adds to the unsanitary and unpleasant conditions in shared outdoor areas. What is most frustrating is the lack of visible long-term solutions. Overall, the property does not reflect the level of care or management residents should be able to expect, and I would strongly caution anyone considering moving here unless significant changes are made to address cleanliness, pest control, and pet waste enforcement in a consistent and effective way.Read More

The maintenance staff are wonderful - they are very pleasant, and they handle our maintenance requests very quickly, usually within 1 day. The complex is always clean. September 24, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comThis place isn't that safe. Arcadia has only one security camera here at the front office and the security vehicle shows up one time in the night. My car was broken into a few months ago here in the parking lot. Recently, I found there was another car here that was also broken into right in front of Arcadia. Don't be fooled by thinking this apartment complex is located in a nice area just go to the next street over near the Walmart and see if its still nice. Arcadia on the backside connects to ...Daly Center drive which has a cul de sac. At night, you will see about 2 to 3 RVs that are parked there and they will usually leave a bunch of trash behind. I have woken up early in the morning to find the homeless digging in the dumpsters at Arcadia. Today, they shut off my water for a non emergency maintenance issue and didn't even notify me. I have been living here for about a year and a half and this place has really gone down. For the price, this place is not reasonable. I promise ! you can do better than this place. I looked them up on the internet and scheduled a tour to see them right away. I fell in love with not only the apartment itself, but also the apartment complex, as well as the surrounding area. Everyone was so friendly, and I felt extremely welcomed upon eventually moving in here. The shopping center is so close by, and fashion valley as well as mission valley malls are minutes away!
