      Areum is a clean community with nice apartments and amenities (and a convenient and great location). The management/leasing staff (Jonathan and Jessica) are very friendly and helpful. Jonathan was professional, friendly, and very responsive during the entire leasing process. Maintenance has also been friendly and helpful. From my observations and experience, Areum gets to know their residents.

      We love our new home, the space is wonderful. The views are beautiful (except for the homeless encampment) The amenities are outstanding. One thing that I miss from our previous home is the sense of community. Our previous home had organized events to bring the group together. Wined Down Wednesdays, Bagels on a Fridays . They decorated for the holidays. The Areum has a more industrial atmosphere, maybe that is by design. My philosophy is to get to know your neighbors, it warms things up.

      Not to pleasant experience. When we moved in the apartment was dirty and the carpet was stained, when we moved out we got charged for both things. The amenities are old, the elevator is always under construction, management isn’t very helpful and they’re hardly ever in the office.

      Apartment surrounding is safe and we enjoy the amenities! Only thing to note is the constant vent noise we hear being across from city of hope's research lab unfortunately. We tend to refrain from opening our windows and balcony because of the noise

      Management here is horrible. Everyone drags their feet and is careless about issue that happen on property. We have lived here 8 months and are counting down the days til our contract is up.
