Decent for one person
September 19, 2017Lived here for years maintenance always on time and management is courteous. Walls are thin none the less so being respectful of neighbors is a plus. Good for one person or two. Laundry is a big plus.Review from Apartments.com
Terrible Management
August 24, 2017This place is the worst place to live. I was very excited about moving into these apartments because it was my first place, the rent was nice and the area seemed to be nice. The day I moved in, I was very unpleasantly surprised. The maintenance man knocked on my door asking me how many people lived with me. It was only my mom, grandmother, and cousin there putting my place together. The next two days my door also got knocked on. The second day, he asked me what I was doing the night before and ...the third day I wasn't even home. I decided to go to the rental office on day 4 of me being there. I felt so belittled when I left the meeting. They told me that my apartment is not a dorm and "the base in that rap music travels." At the time, I had never been to a part nor club. I am also not the person that listed to rap music at all. I was so confused to why this was going on. Then I had to realize that the reason they were belittling me is because I am a young African American female. After about 3-4 months, I started having some maintenance issues. I let the rental office know what was going on and nobody did anything. I decided to call corporate. The property manager asked me what that was supposed to do. One day I saw the maintenance man and he asked me if "it's all good in the hood". At this point I was angry and ready to move out. They told me that my friends were "gangbangers" and "drug dealers". None of it was true. This place is not somewhere to live; especially if people are dying on the property from heroine overdoses. I wish I would have read an honest review on this place before I moved in because this would have never been the move for me. Terrible Management
July 27, 2016DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE OR GROVE APARTMENTS. They are extremely rude and will find a way to get every single dollar they can from you when you move-out!!!!!! The manager and maintenance don't care for you as a resident and will act like you don't know what you are talking about. Please ask for a copy of the emergency maintenance call list and if you happen to have no heat or a/c is not considered an emergency for them!!!!!!
