DO NOT MOVE HERE, WE HAD MOLD THAT THEY DISMISSED

DO NOT MOVE HERE. The management sucks. We had a roof leak for 6 months that only got taken care of after weeks of complaining. The water puddled in the ceiling and dripped through our ceiling fan on our coffee table, that also got ruined. After complaining about that and the possibility of mold, they only showed up a week or 2 later, with a moisture meter. After using the moisture meter twice on different days, they deducted that there was no mold. Not being trusting of the words of the ...
management, I went in the attic myself and discovered a large patch of mold, and we paid $650 to have our own mold inspector come out because the management obviously did not care much about our health concerns. The day after, the results came back, and there was in fact 2 strains of mold. If we did not take it upon ourselves to investigate for mold, it would have kept growing and we would have gotten SICK, if we didn’t catch something already. We brought this up to management, as we wanted to break our lease and leave this place without paying any fees. They DENIED us the ability to leave without fees, and offered us to move in a different apartment. No way in hell would we stay in a different unit after the experience we had, and the pure negligence of the maintenance and management. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Working in the same industry it was a bit hard to find an apartment because I see things a little different. Coming to Artessa I was looking for a clean, quite community not only that I could enjoy but my family as well. I love my floor plan, love the view that I have and my family is happy.
