it’s lovely here!
July 31, 2022We were looking for a safe and newer building to move into. We toured Ascent and loved it. Everyone was professional and supportive. One month in and we are very satisfied & happy with our choice. We love it here and say it all the time. Love Ascent!
January 12, 2021My husband and I have only been living here for about 2 months but so far we love it! We love how conveniently close the apts. are to nearby stores and the freeway. The staff is great, Katrina the manager was so nice and helpful during our move. We love how pet friendly the apts. are, and how well maintained the apartments are in the inside and the public shared areas. Almost one year later, they still have not fixed fire alarm
May 11, 2017I have lived here for 10 months. The fire alarm has been a nightmare since the first month I moved in. More than 90% of the alarms turned out as false alarm and till now, they still have not figured out a way to make it right. For the past two days, fire alarms were triggered at around 3am, making unacceptable loud noise for over 20 minutes. Again, both were false alarms. Poorly managed property
June 22, 2016I am a current resident here and have been since it opened. As much as I love the new property and vast amenities, I can't take the disruptions throughout all hours of the night anymore. As many tenants here share the same sentiment, we can not seem to get management to fix the issue of fire alarms going off throughout the night due to smoking on the property. This property touts itself as a smoke free environment as well as clearly posting signs everywhere that smoking is not tolerated. Yet, ...when the smoke alarms are triggered, they do little to remedy the situation. If you value sleep stay away. Best thing EVER!!!!!
October 11, 2015the brand new apartments at ASCENT are amazing. Safeway, target and restaurants are all within walking distance. The mall is less than 5 miles away, which is great to help furnish my brand new apartment. The common area is big and spacious. The courtyard has a BBQ area, which can be used pretty much year round because south San Jose has wonderful weather. I LOVE my new apartment. There are amenities galore. the pool area when complete will be resort style and the gym is 24 hours.
