September 22, 2020We toured the demo for this apartment. When we moved in our apartment looked nothing like the demo. Drawers in bathrooms were damaged, apartment smelled like per urine, floors were dirty, shelves were missing from cabinet, vents were dirty, and ceilings in all rooms were dusty. The apartment itself is dated and the apartment its self was dated. Please look at an apartment that is not a demo.Property Manager Responded

January 19, 2018I am also confused about the negative remarks on here. I am with Corporate Housing Experts and have been doing business with Ashford Place for over 5 years. I have never had a problem with any of the staff and the staff currently there are the best. They are so friendly and very knowledgeable. We, at times have had as many as 8 or more units at a time. Any maintenance issues that we have called in have been handled promptly. I have advised many of our clients looking in the Flowood area to go ...with Ashford Place. The comment about the cigarette smoke really confuses me. I know that they smoke but I have never seen them smoking out front and have never smelled smoke on them. This has been a great place to put our VIP clients and I never get complaints. I will continue using them as long as I am in the business.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

December 10, 2015I am confused by the negative remarks on here. Each and every time I have dealt with the management they have responded promptly and politely. Yes, there has been some construction of late, but the results have only increased the beauty of pool area, made a wonderful playground for the kids, and created a private area for grilling. All my neighbors are pleasant. This is also the first apartment where I have lived that the management follows up when people fail to clean up after their pet ..."visits" the outdoors. Every time I have had a maintenance issue, it was handled promptly and I received a follow-up call later to confirm my satisfaction. Finally, if you fly a great deal, you are only minutes from the airport, yet we are apparently insulated from the airport sounds somehow. The community is quiet while still being in the middle of all the fun. And the management, outstanding! Anything you need and they are on it jiffy quick! November 6, 2015The apartments are nice, which cover up the terrible management. They seemed great at the beginning, then when you move in, you don't matter anymore. They are the worst management team that I have ever rented from. I would never tell someone to live here. We had continuous complaints that were not taken care of in a timely manner. If you email them, they will not respond. You have to send multiple emails, call many times for them to finally call back. November 5, 2015This is my 5th apartment to live in and BY FAR the worst. The manager is extremely rude and acts like you are privileged to live in this establishment. Her and her staff stand by the entrance and smoke all day so just to get in, you have to go through a cloud. Once you enter the office smells terrible and looks like w tornado came through. No one seems to know what is going on and tries to get confrontational about everything. I wouldn't pay $500/month to live there, let alone $1,300. My little piece of happiness
July 20, 2015I must say Ashford Place apartments welcomed me with open arms. Everyone has been friendly and respectful since I moved in my first box. There's great diversity with people from all ages. Convenient for everything...from food, malls, school (A school district), and pure satisfaction! I must admit the rental fee is pretty pricey but completely worth it. Plenty of space and opportunity in each size they offer (which is 1-3 bedroom). When I first decided to get an apartment, I came to Ashford ...Place. The price deterred me at first but after looking at apartment complex after apartment complex, I came to find that nothing could compare to what I got from Ashford Place!
