December 12, 2025Imagine moving from Houston to Celina. Imagine being told your unit will be ready Nov 20th. Then imagine you get told before signing that “your unit is not ready and you can’t come see it. I arrived with my mom on “signing day” Nov 20 and walked into this unit. These are the photos of what they claim as “ready.” The shower sprayed water all over the ceiling, there were holes in the bottom of the balcony door which had wasp coming into the unit. The “luxury” granite has stains that will not come ...out. The dish washer had visible mold or mildew. No paint touch ups from last tenant and the garbage disposal did not work. I was told by management that a “maintenance request” would be submitted. I told Kally and Nicole who are both managers that the unit is unacceptable and I would like a new unit as the one they show you when you tour. Imagine being told that there are no other units available and your things are still on a U-Haul. My new unit wasn’t ready until 12/3. Imagine being told it’s YOUR FAULT you didn’t take the original unit and they will NOT credit your prorated amount due to their lack of inspection of the unit. Bottom line they will show you a “model” unit but will throw you into ANY unit and lie and say it’s ready JUST TO GET YOU TO SIGN THE LEASE! Then back track once you sign and try to use a maintenance request to fix issues in the unit after the fact. They will tell you, “it’s not a new building” as an excuse to give you a crappy unit. I will not tell you to move here or not but I will say Don’t TRUST THE LEASING TEAM OR YOU WILL BE SCREWED AND LOCKED INTO A UNIT LESS THAN DESIRABLE. They will not take ownership and they will not credit you back. Great start right? Just move somewhere else, this is not it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Terrible construction
June 10, 2024The walls and ceiling/floors are super thin. No carpet in the living rooms so if you are on first or second floor you can hear ever single step your upstairs neighbors make.Review from Apartments.com
The perfect place for a young family!
May 7, 2024My husband and I have lived at the Atlas at Bluewood for a year and have renewed our lease! We truly have enjoyed living here. We live near the back of the complex and haven't had an abundance of issues. Pros: -It's safe and pretty quiet. I like the officer who lives here. -Fabulous pool and gym. -Dog friendly. Treats at the clubhouse and a dog wash! -Clean (I have not seen one roach) -Small convenience store at clubhouse (Management if you are reading this please bring it back 24 hours, please ...:) -Kid and family-friendly (activities in the clubhouse, outside of the gym, next to the pool, grills, outdoor games) -If we ever have an issue with anything management quickly takes care of things. -Next to Collin College! Current residents of Collin County who are 16 years of age or over are eligible for a library card. -Community events and food trucks from time to time. Cons: -Internet at times can be slow or shut down ( 1-2 instances in a year) Management quickly takes care of things. They let residents know what is happening and more often than not, they remedy the situation. -AC went out a few times. Management quickly took care of this. This is a pretty typical issue in most apartments (at least the ones I have lived in). -Some neighbors don't follow the rules. Sometimes they don't pick up after their dogs or they leave their trash out in the hallways all day. Which IS not allowed and they can get a fine.
