March 6, 2024Although I am from Fort Wayne, I leased an apartment while still living in New Mexico and planning my move back to town. The office staff and maintenance team have been great. Good communication and easy app to use to pay rent or report issues. Love having a carport, outdoor storage, massive personal patio, gym and pool to use. It's a roof over your head
January 18, 2024Autumn Creek is definitely riding the line of what is acceptable for a rental unit. Location: I am a big fan of this location as you are only a few minutes away from Jefferson Pointe as well as downtown Fort Wayne. The only negative is that Autumn Creek is a bit far from I69. Apartment management: The apartment management staff are friendly, and kind. However, I have never rented from an organization that does not allow you to pay rent by debit, credit, or check without unnecessary fees. ...E-check is supported by Autumn Creek, but my bank doesn't do E-checks. Maintenance: Maintenance at Autumn Creek is awful. The way Autumn Creek does maintenance is very unique; It is very apparent they really, really, REALLY, want to save as much money as possible on maintenance costs... This is shown in the general upkeep of the units, as well as any maintenance requests you submit. Drywall and paint is cracked in multiple rooms, floors are not even close to being level (appliances and furniture is almost guaranteed to wobble or sag into the floor), balcony door frames are misaligned preventing use of the screen door,ceilings/corners aren't square, dust everywhere and filthy windows upon move in.... I could go on but this review would be too long. Submitting maintenance request is usually a point of frustration from a personal and technical perspective. Maintenance fails to notify you when they are coming (UNLESS you demand otherwise), they talk down to feminine roommates, and the quality of work is abysmal. Examples of what Autumn Creek maintenance thinks is acceptable: instead of replacing misaligned/unlevel stove top burners they just smash/jam the burner in to its place slightly farther, instead of replacing broken shower diverter valve, they just screw it back on and say it's good enough despite water still pouring out of the bath spout during showers. Amenities: Air conditioning, laundry, balcony, and hot water are all extremely disappointing. Air conditioning is weak, only two rooms seem to be affected. Laundry appliances are so old and small that maintenance recommended I don't wash my bed linens because it might damage them. Air conditioning and water heater will also cost you a fortune if you use them even minimally. You will pay double/triple what you are use to paying for your electricity bill.Property Manager Responded

Place is A Joke! Run FAR AWAY!!
November 3, 2023Mgt changes every sec. Promised and have lease agreements with previous mgr. Mgr leaves and then your screwed! Lived in my apt for 4 years. Carpet should of been replaced anyway. Got charged for it including when Maintenance came in and out of my apt with muddy shoes ( we never wore shoes in house) took money from our deposit of course. Gave me hand me down appliances that were old and hunky instead of ordering a new one. Also was lied to about having to be a full time student to have a ...co-signers just because our rent was the same for years because we had agreement with previous mgr. Credit score-(good) income(good) had to redo a application even though i had been in that same apt for 4 years LOL ABSOLUTELY THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING you can imagine! They did me a favor though! Now live in a 3 bedroom home and pay a Lil less than what I paid a month there! Autumn creek is a RIP OFF! might as well rent or buy a home for what they ask for these apts!Property Manager Responded

absolutely AWFUL
June 21, 2022During my time living here I’ve had to deal with bats AND mice coming through the vents. I was terrorized in my own home. 24 hour maintenance was never 24 hours and only responded to calls after 5-6 am and then shows up after 7 am. This place is sucks please do yourself a favor and do not come here!Property Manager Responded

RUN AWAY!!!!
February 29, 2020I lived there for one year after my divorce. My heat bill was astronomical - almost $200/month. I talked to the front office and the maintenance came in to “seal” the apartment and it did nothing. Drafty windows. Oh and when you move out, they’ll try to charge you to replace the carpet. My apartment was left impeccable. My move out invoice didn’t have my rent payment properly applied. I had to fight the front office even with a copy of my electronic receipt. Great First Place
March 6, 2018As a college student at one of the universities near the apartment complex, this is a nice place to be. The price is affordable for my roommates and I and we have not experienced any criminal mischief while I have been here. They are in need of upgrades in their facilities and if there was a way to provide more parking and dumpsters that would be hepful.
