This is our 4th year living at Autumn Creek Apartments. Maintenance is great. Alan and Angel are always prompt and responsive to any of our service requests. They are friendly and dependable.

These apartments are beautiful, however, the people managing them are utterly incompetent and inconsiderate. The management especially does not care when you are to leave or have left the apartments. In my case, they used to call me on my cell number whenever they needed me to move the car out of the parking area during the snow patrol but they never cared to reach out to me once I left. They posted the dues on the online portal without notifying me. I never received the notice and they handed ...
over the case to the debt collection agency. Unaware of these events, I checked back with the apartments, asked them to figure out the mode of payment and paid it proactively.
I received a call from the debt collecting agency, even after the payment. I was surprised that Autumn Creek did such a thing and did not even care to reach out to the ex-tenant before taking such a step. It affected my credit score at the time when I wanted it in the best of its shape. I called the office and there is no apology of any kind. I am disappointed with them but I am glad I don't live in these apartments.

We are sorry that you feel you did not have a good experience with us. We do our best to keep communication open with our residents, both past and present. We sent you an itemized accounting of any open balance on your account within 2 weeks of your move-out date, to the address you provided. Reading your review, it is clear that you are under the impression that your account was turned over to a collections company and that your balance was reported to a credit agency. Neither is true; we work with a company Resident Advocate (RA) that contacts anyone with an open balance on their account when they vacate. RA contacts past residents to work with them to make payment, or set up a payment plan to avoid the account going to collections. Your account was paid in full and never reported to any credit agency, therefore your account did not have any effect on your credit score. Recently moved into this complex, and the apartment is excellent. The office staff has bent over backward to ensure our move in went smoothly and have worked with us to make some upgrades. My experience is that the staff has been knowledgeable, professional, pleasant and easy to work with.

I was shopping around for an apartment for the summer. The woman that showed me the apartment was very nice, friendly and answered all my questions. I told her I would contact her because I was still shopping around, I got called and emailed 14 times, everyday. I had to talk them to stop calling. I felt like I was being harassed! Worst living experience I've ever had. Suzanne has no business interacting with tenants and is incredibly spiteful, unprofessional, and rude. I'd avoid this apartment and the management company if you can. Plenty of other places to live.

I have lived here for going on three years and it is an awesome place to live. The office and maintenance staff are always so courteous and helpful. They have created a wonderful community and work daily to keep it beautiful and safe. For example, Alex, one of the maintenance workers, not only responds promptly to any and all maintenance requests he also knows my son’s names and checks in on my family and I. My family and I love being a part of this community.

Do not recommend this any more. Things changed a lot in last few months.. currently in my 3rd year and regretting now for signing the lease. There are multiple ways tenants are feeling uncomfortable with their policies.
ex: we are not allowed to keep a charcoal grill in the patio even though we are not using.

The policies have been established for consideration of our resident's safety and are also enforced by the Town of Amherst. Because we know that charcoal grills give the benefit of great flavor for cooking we have placed them safely around the community for the residents' use.
Maintenance is fair but the new director is horrible!!

We have been staying in this apartment ma from last two years and didn’t have any big complaints. These were the fairly good apartments. But, the new director who is in has been very rude to us in one of the issue. We being a resident were not at all respected by her. She didn’t even have a smile on her face. One star is more for her!!
