Utilities Are No Longer Included in 2026.
October 29, 2025I just received an email stating that beginning with renewal terms that start in January 2026, Autumn Ridge will begin billing residents for water and sewer. So besides the rising rent and all the other issues that this place has (mold, broken washers and dryers, elevator, lack of available parking), tenants will now have to pay additional fee for utilities.Review from Apartments.com
Not what it used to be.
September 16, 2025I’ve lived here for over a decade and this place has gone seriously downhill. They got rid of the swimming pool a few yrs ago, first claiming they were renovating it then it was because the lifeguards wouldn’t come to work. Yet, right up the street at Cherrywood Apartments, their pool is constantly staffed and open to their tenants, same with Jamestown Square and they revamped the fitness center but it mostly cardio and leg machines and one shoulder press. If your neighbor smokes, but yourself an ...air purifier because your apartment will smell like it. Tenants speed through the parking lot and in once case, a car crashed into several parked cars. There is NO notification when maintenance is working in your building or if access to your building is closed due to construction. So be prepared for the loud noise if you don’t work during the day. On site laundry but the access is limited to certain hours and the machines are usually busted or always taken. The office staff is rude and unresponsive to complaints and they do nothing about the speeding, dog poop everywhere, kids running around unsupervised, and a ton of other issues, unless you have the RIGHT complexion. Parking is limited to 2 per unit, and no assigned parking, so you better get home before 5 or good luck. There is discarded cat and tuna cans everywhere to feed the flea and possibly mange infested stray cats.only positive is that it’s proximity to Rt. 42, otherwise save your money, there are FAR better options.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
terrible management
May 31, 2024They don’t upgrade anything let alone fix things right . The parking is terrible . There’s trash all over and drugs .Review from Apartments.com
Terrible
May 14, 2024I been here for a few years and hate it . There’s a constant plumber problems , bugs and the apartment is cheaply made . Everything falls apartment and maintenance don’t know how to fix things at all . The parking is terrible also be prepared to park super far from your apartment . There so many drug dealers and recently a shooting that just happened . Also they will have your car towed . The cops are always here cause something is always happening . I can’t wait to moveReview from Apartments.com
The worst. Do not move here.
September 29, 2022This community has been named an “award winning gated community” but I am curious as to what the award is for. This is one of the poorest ran complexes I have ever been apart of or seen in my entire life. There is constant noise, trash everywhere ALWAYS, the leasing staff is pleasant, but useless. I would not recommend anyone moving here. They have contracted a towing company that will tow your car EVEN IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. If you are just ...getting started on life, I MIGHT recommend (even then I probably wouldn’t due to the outrageous pricing to value ratio), but other than that there are way better options out there, trust me. The pool was open for TWO days after opening a month late. They had to shut the pool down due to lack of preparation and unwillingness to pay to have the pool fixed properly. I am being as honest as I would want someone to be with me. This place is UNBEARABLE. Look elsewhere!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Don’t do it
July 3, 2022Just don’t do it . Pictures are not the same as in person at all . I was never offered to see the apartment before moving in and when I requested to I was told they were still renovating it - my cane it’s look like they sanded wood poorly and then painted over it … like a popcorn ceiling in the bathroom. Trying to move ASAP .Review from Apartments.com
Nice place to start out.
December 21, 2021I’m going to give you a honest review from a fresh married couple that started here 3 years ago. Autumn Ridge is not a bad place especially if it’s your first apartment like it was for us. After being here for 3 years we were over being here just because apartments aren’t met for people to live they whole life in. People grow, life moves on. Pros/Cons list…. Cons are having to lug your clothes to the laundry facility. Parking is tough because of how many people live here now but it’s first come ...first serve we never had to park in the guest lot before. The people above us were very heavy footed so that was annoying sometimes I wouldn’t say the wall were necessarily thin. Pros they just renovated the laundry room so it’s very very nice now. The leasing office always answered our emails and maintenance always solved any problems that may have occurred (which was not that many for 3 years) most neighbors were friendly, we never had a problem with anyone stealing out packages off our door step. Mail came the same time everyday. it’s a gated community so not everyone can just drive in. The local police drives through here and there. I know price is different for people who move in now, but for New Jersey I would say we paid a pretty fair price for a 2bedroom 1 bath apartment For the last 3 years. I would recommend this place for people starting out in life on their own 4/5 rating.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Be Aware.....
August 31, 2021Autumn Ridge Apartment complex management is not concerned about any reports or incidents about aggressive dogs on their property towards other tenants. The concern may only happen if a tenant gets bitten. It is very condensing to tell a tenant '"well we are a dog friendly community" while some of the dogs and their owners are aggressive. Owners all need to have control of their dogs in common areas so tenants can be safe. Too many bugs and trash in the complex building.Review from Apartments.com
Parking denied! Terrible upper management!
April 8, 2021We lost our parking pass a week into moving in, as we had sold our old car. After contacting management weeks prior for a parking pass, our new car was towed from the property today. We paid 200$ and called management right away. The people in the office are very pleasant, but when they contacted upper management, they said they DO NOT issue new parking passes, and we would have to park in GUEST PARKING, which is a 10 minute walk from our apartment. We have eight more months on our lease! Every ...day, more then twice a day, we're meant to walk that far because they won't issue us another parking pass!? We were more than willing to pay for another one! Ridiculous!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
DONT LIVE HERE
September 29, 2020If I could give zero stars I would. Very noises not one part of the day is quiet. Banging coming from other apartments. Never any parking, and when you address problems to the office there rude about it and don’t do anything to help. Please don’t waste your money on this place look for a better complex.Review from Apartments.com
DO NOT MOVE HERE
March 4, 2020This place is not good. There is never any parking and they say it’s because I work a later shift. That shouldn’t matter because for the money I pay I shouldn’t have to walk ten minutes to my apartment from a spot. Even at 5 pm if you leave to get food when you come back there will be no spots. The office doesn’t care about the tenants. You have to send emails over and over and all you get is a attitude and that some one will be there but they don’t come for days and when they do they don’t fix ...the problem. There are bugs everywhere. The tenants here are ignorant. They let there kids run amuck and the apartment does nothing there is trash everywhere people hanging out in the stair ways. Do not move here!!!!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Don't Rent at Autumn Ridge
September 20, 2019Don't rent at Autumn Ridge! Parking is the worst. You won't get a parking spot after 6pm. You can't have guests visit because the lots for the guests are either too far away or they fill up fast. They will be walking a far distance to your specific building. They come tow your car after 7pm if you do not have the appropriate tag on your car that states you live here. Residents don't use the trash compactor correctly. They just throw their trash on the grounds. Staff never replenishes the ...hand wipes to throw away your trash. There are bugs in your apartment. Your neighbors smoke weed and it enters your apartment. You sometimes can't use your balcony or patio or even have your windows open due to the smell of weed. There are trash and food left all over the grounds of the apartment complex. I constantly see eaten chicken bones all over. The apartments are so old and the apartments are all in need of serious updating without an extra fee to do so! The cabinetry is old and falling apart. There is no storage space in the kitchen. The apartment is not worth the money they want for any of their apartments. The rent is raised $50 every year. Also, if you have your car parked on the lot and it has an expired sticker or flat tire in the parking lot, they put a sticker on your car telling you that you have 72 hours to fix the issue or they will tow you. Isn't this private property? When did it become illegal to have a flat tire or something else wrong on your car when it is parked legally on private property? The maintenance team is usually pretty good about fixing things. Don't bother making complaints to the office, it doesn't do you any good!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
