May 6, 2025When you are gearing up to move out (or pay rent in general) Avalon likes to claim that the method they use to calculate rent does not fully calculate the entirety of that rent at the end of the current month for the upcoming month. I.e. we were given an option to move out with zero penalty due to the absolute insane ant problem in our unit, they crawled up our ceilings and fell onto our bed, crawled up from carpet and took over. We confirmed well before the rent was even calculated but are now ...being told it wasn’t fully calculated when we paid at the end of the month as they require and as we always do so now we owe an extra $600 for a problem that sounds like was due to their own system and the way they have chosen to bill people. Additionally instead of waving fees for ESAs and other programs they try to force you into, they give you a credit in advance for it, so when calculating that total rent, they will charge you back for the credit they applied already which is insane. Not to mention the longer the stay, the more you see the water damages in the walls and ceilings, bugs/ants/cockroaches/wasps and more, the more excuses about why the property is covered in trash, glass, dog poop, spider webs, hyperdermic needles (which I found), steak and chicken bones scattered throughout from the crazy amount of raccoons digging through the trash, and more. 5-Star Review for Avalon Campbell
October 24, 2022After looking all over the South Bay Area for several months, I chose Avalon Campbell as my new home and I'm so glad that I did! The property is beautiful with tall, woodsy trees and the landscaping is well maintained. There are multiple, high quality amenities that are also well maintained, including a pool with cabanas, on-site gym, bbq area, and dog park. The apartment interior includes lovely flooring, stainless steel appliances and full size washer / dryer and a patio! Perhaps the best and ...most important part of living at Avalon Campbell is the onsite team of professionals who manage the property. I've never had a better leasing experience. Eileen guided me through the process with warmth, kindness and was a wealth of information. Carlos has stepped in more than once to ensure time sensitive maintenance issues were immediately addressed. Alex has been very responsive and helpful with maintenance requests. Beware of increases
January 29, 2022Our family moved out at the end of the year. They were going to increase our monthly rent so we moved, but turned around and advertised our same apartment for LESS monthly rent to a new tenant. Appears they don't value there renters.Review from Apartments.com
Nice property but parking is scarce
January 19, 2022We viewed this complex recently and while we loved the location and the leasing agent was very nice, we chose not to lease here due to parking. We were only offered one space near our apartment and the other was quite a walk. My husband is disabled but can drive and we have our child's carsest in my car, so we would not be able to both be able to park near our apartment. I inquired about the underbuilding parking structure across from the unit we saw that had very few cars in it but was told ...there were no open spaces.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
