Living at Avalon Cove in Jersey City has been an absolute nightmare. The maintenance team is beyond incompetent, and management is completely indifferent to residents' concerns. I submitted multiple requests—again and again—to fix a toilet that kept splashing water everywhere, kitchen cabinets that wouldn’t close properly, and a refrigerator that stopped making ice, ruining all my food. creating tickets, and we’ll keep pretending to do something about it.” Their attitude is basically, if it’s broken, it’s your problem, not ours.
What’s even worse? This place is NOT cheap. You’re paying premium prices for a subpar, poorly managed apartment complex that offers nothing in return. And if you think at least security might be decent for what you’re paying—think again. There is ZERO security. Anyone can walk in and out, and management couldn’t care less about resident safety.
If you value your sanity, your safety, and your money, do yourself a favor and stay far away from Avalon Cove. This is one of the worst-run buildings in the area, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
