July 2, 2025It’s average but getting expensive for what the property really is.. my bathroom fan is literally from the 80s and I have popcorn ceilings. It’s like living in section 8 without the fair pricing ?? gates are always broken too and I have to pay an additional $10 for the storage closet on my patio that should realistically be considered part of my apartment like anywhere else would. They’re trying to be bougie on a budget without adding anything to the property. All pools have only one working gate ...now. It’s just going down hill, in my opinion.Property Manager Responded

The gates at the front of the complex were manually stuck open during the construction along Driftwood as they were obstructing the exit gate, but they are working now. The $10 charge is not for storage on your patio, nor do we charge for storage in the unit. The $10 charge is for being a part of the Val Vista Lakes HOA. We are disappointed to hear that you feel as though the community is going downhill and hope to turn your experience around by the improvements we are making to the community.
