Lived here for a little over a year. The office staff always answer the phone and are super friendly and helpful. Maintenance has reasonable response times and actually fix things, not that many things broke during my time here.
The management takes very good care of the property with frequent touchups of various amenities. This place clearly understands re-investment.
This area never felt unsafe, though being behind a Walmart is by no means reassuring.
As for the price, I found it to be one ...
of the most reasonable options for a decent area and for what you're getting.
The only reason I moved out was to save more money by getting a roommate. If my situation ever changed, I would likely move back here.

Well. the neighborhood is a bit rougher than I realized when I rented here. There are quite a few issues that have happened with the unit but maintenance is always super fast (usually same day) and fixes it right the first time. The office staff is professional friendly and helpful. My apartment is nice overall and I feel safe here. As a single mom- it’s been a nice place to call home.

I’m not sure what other people experienced but for me I would definitely move here! The maintenance is EXCELLENT everytime I have had a problem they were on it RIGHT AWAY! My neighbors are great! Extremely rude workers in office, maintenance is terrible. AC went out last summer and the only thing they could do was tell me to open my windows. Then there were tiny mice infestations. Then we got a different apartment and told us the apartment would be ready to move in months in advance. The day finally arrives and theres water damage, unpainted walls from past residents, closet doors falling off, yellow jackets coming from the vents ( which btw had to call exterminator every two weeks). Now ...
we have spider nests in the living room, even though we are extra tidy. Called corporate and they never picked up after many voicemails. They just want your money. DONT DO IT!

There are THIEVES HERE! And NO SECURITY CAMERAS. Do yourself a favor and DON’T LIVE HERE. I could NEVER RECOMMEND Avon Creek to family or friends. Like every morning my husband and I walk out the patio at 4:50 to find his compressor stolen and 2 packs of coke cans we had out. What’s interesting is the compressor is small enough and had been sitting there for months hidden behind the chair obvious it must of been someone who’s watched constantly and seen it sitting there. What’s interested is just ...
a few days back before I got a letter from the office saying I need it to clean the balcony because I had too many things there. I guess having a grill, 2 chairs, the compressor behind the chair, 2 coke can on the side was too much for the balcony. You can get notices for anything here. We renew the lease for a second year because We had to. The only reason we end up here is because we did everything online from Texas and could not see the apartments physically it was too late to back up once we signed the lease.
There is nothing attractive in this apartments! 340 is one of the ugliest buildings. The AC is right next to the balcony and so noisy we never enjoy to sit there. There is NO PANTRY, not enough space on cabinets for dishes and groceries, the mail lady keeps on slamming the mail box so hard the wall shakes abruptly every time. Although I haven’t complaint I have the occasionally noisy, but constant stomper, upstairs neighbor.
Maintenance is mediocre! They get things done and leave the area dirty, messy, and crappy looking. Kitchen Plumbing has back up 3 times now. The new trash door pick up system is $20 for a guy to pick up my ONE bag of trash and drop it away in the city trash disposal that’s next to me. There is no friendly recycling. They charged for everything looks like. I’m worried when we moved out they’ll find whatever detail excuse to charged us.

When we first move it the apartments it smell bad it took like 6 months for the smell to finally go away. I called about the carpet having pet hair and it was “clean” but when my 10 month old dropped a puff there was so much dog/cat hair on it, it was gross luckily they changed the carpet.
