May 29, 2022Avondale Apts Tulsa-many mailbox locks don't work. Flimsy plastic mailboxes. Homeless carry off armloads of tenants mail to sell or steal their identies!Property Manager Responded

Good, Affordable living
August 14, 2019I've been here two years, the staff are very helpful and are there whenever I need something. As a college student I appreciate the affordable and pet-friendly living and have been glad to see the dog parks where other apartments don't have that. I've also used the sidewalk by the creek for longboarding/walking if I need to get out.Review from Apartments.com

Do NOT move here
July 25, 2018Maintenance takes care of nothing, air conditioner has stopped working four times, dishwasher has been broken since day 1, cabinet drawers are all broken, toilet wont stop running, doorwall has gap open at top that lets bugs in, tiles in bathroom caved in when pushed on, looks like mold. December 20, 2016My daughter lives here and it is awful. Can't get management to fix things. Have to call multiple times a day to get anything fixed. Took three months to get A/C fixed. Lease is up next week and she is moving. She is leaving all of her furniture because the roaches are so bad. Bugs galore, crime everywhere, and maintenance is nowhere to be seen!
June 14, 2016I lived at Avondale for a couple years, and it's been steadily going downhill. Management just changed in May 2016, and the new only cares about getting more residents in, rather than keeping the ones they have. Bugs have always been a major problem. Any time I got them under control to gone, someone would move out and I'd be infested all over again. Maintenance is laughable at best. They'll take multiple weeks to fix major problems, hours to respond if your ceiling is gushing water, and drag ...their feet to fix any of the damage. The crime is out of control. In one year, my car was broken into twice, vandalized, attempted to be stolen. People will regularly walk by and check for unlocked doors. I woke up multiple times to someone on my balcony trying to get in. The laundromat is horrible. It was broken into and left closed for days on end. Multiple times the powers gone out while open, and you'd lose any credit you had in the machine when it (eventually) comes back on. The machines would regularly eat my money, and management would just take down my info to "credit it to my rent", which never happened. Worst place
March 10, 2016I lived here and it is roach motel. Also it took me $35.00 to clean my carpet, and 5 hours to detail clean my apartment. I never did get my deposit back, I called and went to see manager for 4 months, all I got was lies and more lies. This place can not be trusted.Review from Apartments.com
HORRIBLE
August 13, 2015They are all roach infested I live in the 6728 building and it's been infested for over a year and even though it is written into my lease that the management handles pest problems all they will do is give me a couple of bait traps and say that's all they will do. I have spent so much money on roach poisons but because my neighbors are super dirty and the management team won't tent their apartments nothing is working. I also have a good friend living in another building at this property and they ...have the same problem we have so I know it isn't just one building. Management will lie to you about these things.
