Excellent accommodations!
March 7, 2025We stayed there last year for over a month while my wife had a medical procedure done at Johns Hopkins. The apartment was very well furnished and equipped for extended stays. I would definitely use them again.Property Manager Responded

Bad manager and poor construction
June 8, 2024First, we chose a different apartment in the building because it had a lower price. However, we were later informed that it was a mistake and that the apartment was already occupied. As a result, they offered us a different apartment with no sunlight at a higher price. Since we were in another state, we accepted the offer virtually. It was a terrible experience. Additionally, the building materials were of poor quality, and only the common areas were nice. Our car was fined $500 in the parking ...lot because we forgot to update our license plate information in the app after getting a new license plate. Furthermore, the suite was infested with flies. Poorly Built
January 16, 2024Great location with good amenities (when they are working). Be prepared to hear everything from the apartment above you, from footsteps to their shower running and toilet flushing. Heat and A/C are both extremely loud when they kick on, and you will most likely have to purchase a dehumidifier on your own for their summer.Property Manager Responded

October 12, 2021This is not a luxury building!! Do not be fooled by the reviews left by employees of the Wood Property Group. I have yet to talk to a single tenant who is pleased with the building. Theft is a regular occurrence here. Oh and make sure if you do move in you install a camera. The property group will enter your home without approval.Property Manager Responded

Poorly managed property
September 6, 2021Great facility, but poor management. Elevators break every week but the message is “take the stairs.” Pool is beautiful but randomly closed without notice, including Labor Day! And all management communicates about consistently is rent. So I’d look elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

We offer 4 elevators at our community in addition to 4 stairwells, to provide convenient access to your apartment home in the event there is an elevator outage. We appreciate the pool feedback as well, and have communicated concerns to our management company, who has experienced staff shortages impacted by COVID-19 that unfortunately impacted closing the pool for a few days at the end of the season. We have stressed the importance of providing adequate notice of closures and the importance of the amenity being open as advertised. The team is working to provide additional service days and will keep the residents posted on updates as they are received. July 22, 2021I viewed about 6 other apartments prior to Alta Brewers Hill. A leasing agent at the last apartment building on my list happened to mention this one, so I came to check it out. Shary showed me around and after the tour I immediately knew this was the place for me. I moved into Alta Brewers Hill in July 2020. Shary was very informative and helpful throughout my whole lease here; anytime I emailed her, she responded in a timely manner. So when I moved in, this was unfortunately still in the thick ...of COVID so most amenities were unavailable, but they’re open now! They have many amenities: coffee bar in lobby, conference room, pool, gym, pet spa, two different courtyards, an experience kitchen, and etc. They even offered a contactless food delivery table in the lobby; how considerate! Other things I loved: secure parking garage, walls were not thin, plenty of cabinets in kitchen, and proximity to stores/restaurants/hospitals. I hate that I had to leave after a year here but I had to relocate for work. If work should ever bring me back to the area, I would definitely choose Alta Brewers Hill again.Property Manager Responded

The only problem with one bedroom apartments is that the utility cabinet is in the middle of the apartment and not sound proofed, so it's very noisy when the HVAC keeps working.Property Manager Responded
