A pipe ruptured above my unit, dumping water all over my apartment, bed, and belongings. I wasn’t compensated for the damage or time I had to spend living in a smaller model unit. Additionally, as other reviews have noted, the tap water is periodically putrid and sulfuric. I was told this issue had been resolved prior to my signing a lease, but this was blatantly false.
I also want to caution against this property's lack of transparency regarding its many fees, including a $500 "admin" fee and ...
$225 amenity fee, for access to the roof that they significantly restrict. When touring, they suggested I could use the common areas to host guests, but only later informed me of the strict limit of only a couple guests per resident, instead offering me use of the dining room that costs hundreds of dollars to rent out. The sticker price of these apartments is deceptive; the true cost of living here is far greater than they let on, while the experience is far worse than represented.
They will try to lure you in with flashy features like an outdoor TV they never provide a remote for, rooftop fire pits that don't work, and an ice cream machine, which I have not seen in use a single time since moving in. Do not fall for it!
