Barber Park
April 2, 2026I lived in this apartment community for 6 years, and overall, it was a positive experience. The location is very convenient, and I always felt safe living here. The maintenance team was generally responsive and handled requests in a timely manner. Over the years, I saw improvements in the property, which I appreciated. Like any place, there were occasional issues, but nothing major that made me want to leave sooner. The staff was helpful most of the time and did their best to assist when ...needed. After 6 years, I decided it was time for a change, but I am grateful for the time I spent here and the memories I made. Don’t let the layout fool you!
December 3, 2025The office staff is GREAT! The management company tries to have monthly tenant activities so you can mingle with your neighbors. They have a lot of amenities however. Pest control of the Grounds is never done, there are hugh ants in your home all the time, brown recluse etc. I was rushed to the hospital twice for anaphylactic insect bites. I complained from day 1. The appliances are old, broken which had my OUC bill at $125 atleast every month. The refrigerator had no shelves in the freezer. the ...shelves in the refrigerator were broken I was told by the office manager they would have to raise my rent to replace it even though I was now moving in. The tenants throw trash over the banister and no one picks up after their dog so it smells like dog filth. There are rats running around because people put trash in the bins in front the doors on non collection days. It is a high priced mess over there! Save your money and go somewhere else. The system to pay the rent has multiple rates of the same items month after month and you have to pay it or your rent will be late. Disgusting apartment
January 14, 2023By far the worst apartment complex I’ve experienced in Orlando. They approved my lease application but did not send the lease for me to sign until the week I was supposed to move in. They also changed my move-in date the week of, forcing me to move in the Friday before classes started. When I arrived on move-in day they were still painting my apartment and tried to refuse to give us the keys, even though we arrived two hours later than the time we were given to move in. The apartment had dirty ...carpets and the whole apartment was dusty. There was even a layer of dirt, dead bugs, and debris on top of the kitchen cabinets. Everything from the hinges on the cabinets to the metal accordion doors were rusted. None of the cabinets have handles and inside the cabinets they had spray painted over cobwebs (you can’t make this stuff up). The three main rooms in the house (living room, bedroom, and office nook) had no light fixtures, just a cap where one would go. Yet other units in my building had ceiling fan light fixtures in each of these rooms. I dealt with a roach infestation the entire year I lived in the apartment. Pest control came once a week, upon request, and I would often call to put my name on the list and pest control still wouldn’t come, then they make you wait until next week and hope they come that time. The gate remained broken and open for the entire year that I lived there. Overall, the complex is poorly run and disgusting.Property Manager Responded

Not worth the money
January 1, 2022I live in a 700 square ft studio and when I first moved in there were Roaches. Pest control man comes once every three months and he barely sprays. But we get charged every month. The area seems kind of safe though.Review from Apartments.com
