January 27, 2022I had a bad experience in this residence, the parking is not safe, and they were stolen things from my car at that parking , as well as the units is not clean and you can hear the sound of mices inside the walls .Property Manager Responded

March 31, 2020the attention is ugly it does not have good hygiene, lack of maintenance, its workers do not know anything they just come to disturb the residents ... Terrifying experience
August 18, 2018I could have gave them minus 5 stars if there was such an option. Terrible company to give your money to. Nubia and Latoya are absolutely incompetent ladies who should have a better attitude towards their customers. Every time I had a question or a problem their answer was "we explained it to you". Rude unprofessionals who never follow up with the issue. Never got my parking pass which I was lawfully entitled to, after months of waiting just gave up, cause they said their superwiser Susan, who ...was supposed to notify me on my parking issue had a flu. After months of waiting - nothing...Had some issues with another lease holder and left them my address, my phone, my email to contact me in case something went wrong. Called them, left voice mails - nobody ever replied. Then instead of contacting me they just send our info to collection agency to ruin our credits and rental history. So spiteful and unprofessional. Then tried to call and find out about a detailed invoice on where our security deposit went - got yelled at. Then called many times, left voice mails and wrote complaints to Susan - their superwiser - no answer till this day. it is been 4 weeks since i last called - nobody cares! Still have to clue where the security deposit went to, nobody would contact me or give me any info. Do not give your business to Kay Apartment Communities if you want to save you some trouble. Had to move, because couldn't deal anymore with that nightmare. Such a pity, because the location is nice. I wish there were competent people taking care of that location. NICE APARTMENTS
August 14, 2015I HAVE BEEN LIVING AT BARCROFT PLAZA FOR A WHILE NOW AND THESE APARTMENTS ARE NICE. THE NEIGHBORHOOD IT SELF IS NICE AND I FEEL SAFE AND FOR MY CHILDREN TOO. THE APARTMENTS ARE NICE NOT TO BIG BUT NOT TO SMALL EITHER AT LEAST MANGABLE, EVERY BUILDING HAS IT OWN LAUNTRY IN THE BASEMENT WHICH IS VERY CONVINANT. THE APPLICANCES IN THE KETCHEN ARE UPDATED IF YOU CHOOSE AN APPARTMENT THAT HAS BENN RENOVATED. THEY ARE OLD BUT HAVE BEEN WELL MAINTAINED. I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH ROACHES , AND PEST ...CONTROL COMES EVERY 6 MONTHS REGARDLESS IF YOU HAVE THEM OR NOT WHICH IS WHY I PROBERLY DONT HAVE ANY.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Hidden Gem
August 23, 2015This is a great little place. May not be the most attractive complex, but it does the job. Especially amongst the super high rents in the area, it's affordable. The folks in the leasing office are really nice. Playground for kids and a pool. Missing the gym though :( But there are tons of great gyms really close to the complex, so it isn' t a big issue. The staff also make sure the outside is well manicured and free of trash. I give this place a thumbs up!
