    I am writing this review because I strongly disagree with the 2 reviews "Not worth it" and "DO NOT APPLY HERE". I am happily living here for 5 years, and this is my review: Barnbeck Place is a laid-back community with friendly neighbors. The buildings are clean and the grounds are immaculate. There are serene walking trails with breathtaking views. The inside of the apts. are modern and very well maintained. Management is accommodating and transparent regarding fees. The apts are sought after ...
    with very few vacancies at any given time, as people usually live here for several years before they move. The rent is fair market value and not "wildly overpriced". This is a safe community to live in and conveniently located near stores and highways. I do not work for the company nor was I asked to write this review. This is my true opinion.

    People move in and out of this place like crazy. Most don't come back and there are various good reasons. Make sure you sign/give your notice to vacate on time or they'll keep an entire months rent even if it's late by 1 day -- get it in early if you can. Let me start by stating how terrible the water is in this building. I was afraid to even shower with it. You have to filter or buy water for your coffee maker and cooking in general. This is some of the hardest water I have ever come across -- I ...
    found extremely unpleasant. Another thing, make sure you closely scrutinize the unit on your move in report. They will charge you for things you didn't do or weren't aware of -- take a slow detailed video if you can. If you live near the trash chute you will smell garbage coming in and going out of your apartment. The staff is terrible at cleaning regularly. It's a wildly overpriced and the extra few hundred dollars is not worth it -- builting in 2015 and aside from good solid door inside the unit walls are paper thin. You can find a bigger and better apartment with the same if not more ameneties if you just look a little harder. Do your self and your wallet a favor and avoid it.

      We would appreciate a chance to discuss issued with the reviewer if they wish to contact our office directly. Barnbeck Place has many residents who have been on the property since it was constructed in 2015. Water is supplied by the Town of Brookfield. Property staff work hard to keep common areas including trash rooms clean and neat, and some recent offenders with regard to trash disposal have now been put off the property. Residents to adhere to their lease agreements, but many local communities require 60 days notice to vacate, and Barnbeck still needs only 30 days. For the record, a one day miss on the 30 day notice period does not result in a one month penalty. We have a full and happy community, and when a unit does come up for rent, our friendly leasing agents are ready to schedule convenient showings!

    1. Noise: pounding footsteps/ TV blaring and Loud music through the walls / ceilings/ floors 2. Smoking is going on in this building and the apartments reeks of smoke. Look out for plug-ins masking the smell. 3. Maintenance: what are they actually responsible for? You might be surprised how much YOU are responsible for as a tenant!!! 4. The apartment is filthy when you move in. It’s actually work for you to have to clean the apartment when you move-in to be clean. 5. There is this nice handy ...
    dandy move-out fee schedule that they charge you for everything. Look out for it because your security deposit will be -poof- gone because they want it desperately! You better note and document everything you see when you move in and leave the apartment better than you moved in to try to salvage some of that deposit! 6. Parking is such a problem - people are getting towed daily. There is no such thing as parking in the garage. Don’t be fooled.
