Under New (Terrible) Management

This place was sold a bit over a year ago and the new owners are actually terrible. If something breaks expect it to take weeks to months to get fixed with little to no communication from them, if you try to follow up to get details on what's taking so long expect them to just fully ignore you. The location itself is also terrible, expect to hear cars all times of the day and music from several of the tenants themselves who seem to enjoy sitting in their cars all day blasting music so loud you ...
can hear it from inside your apartment with headphones on (management of course doesn't care about this because they don't really care about anything). Overall this apartment was fine and acceptable for what it was under old management, under new management you are literally throwing your money away to be mistreated.

Barry Place apartments are in the perfect location if you are going to the University of North Texas. Its about a 15 minute walk to campus, Fry Street, or the Square. I took off a star since it is near a busy street, and it is a college town, so you are likely to hear a jerk honking or yelling every so often. It's been a good place, and they allow pets. These apartments are owned by Place To Be, which have been quick with every maintenance request and inquiry. All in all, a good place!
