May 1, 2025Elevator is frequently out of service, and the Carson tenant app often malfunctions, creating recurring issues with building access and package deliveries. The trash chute also breaks down regularly. Budget is directed toward appearances and marketing rather than providing maintenance budget and livability standards. Persistent smoke smell in the hallways, can’t be captured in photos but are noticeable daily…despite the building being “no smoking” complex. Encourages tenants to reach out, but ...replies tend to be general and rarely result in meaningful follow-up or improvements.Property Manager Responded

POOR EXPERIENCE
July 17, 2023Firstly,BURGLARY, you can't imagine that such a problem could occur in an expensive rental apartment, the resident's safety doesn't seem to be important to them, and even after you pursue the responsibility and seek help from the apartment, they will just casually stonewall you and emphasize it many times over: "It's not my responsibility". Multiple instances of inaction by the apartment's service can be chilling, as well as sky-high bills resulting from charges that were intentionally hidden ...from tenants. Multiple/complicated charges will come at you like crazy like rain, and a lot of the services they promise you won't receive (including but not limited to Valet Trash, Move out reminders, etc) will undoubtedly leave the tenant feeling very disgruntled. If you seek a good stay, then you should avoid this apartment and RUN!Property Manager Responded

Tons of amenities
August 9, 2015This place has an equal amount of pros vs. cons. Great amenities pool gym awesome views washer/dryer in unit! However our management has changed quite a few times since I've been here and it's honestly not the friendliest or most organized. Parking packages and building updates are just some of the constant issues that seem to never be fully solved. But we love Analise she's great!Review from Apartments.com
Convenient, fun location
August 3, 2015We moved in to Bay Street Apartments this past December after a cross country move with a newborn from NY. My family and I love the convenience of living so close to all our necessities! Trader Joes, Target, Babies R Us, IKEA and located just above a bunch of our favorite stores to shop for clothes. It definitely made our coast-to-coast transition much easier and we've had a lot of fun exploring the neighborhood. The street offers lots of family fun activities, like a doggie night and farmers ...market. We're nice and close to the boardwalk where we can walk down to the pier. There are lots of restaurants and good food near by, the pool area and beautiful and the property overall is very well kept. When we moved in the apartment was emmaculate, even for a brand new mom's standards. Most people wouldn't find it ideal to live above a "mall" but it's so quiet and secure within the building, I almost forget about the world just downstairs at times. My one downfall- and maybe I'm just used to this in NY - is that there are no Central Air systems in the apartments. Since we've moved in we've seen lots of updates, which I love. The current management company is definitely up with the times and looking for ways to improve. It is definitely an expensive place to live and we haven't seen what the lease renewal process is like just yet, but we definitely think it's worth it for a young, small family completely new to the area.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
