Punctuality is About Mutual Respect
March 2, 2023Had an appointment with Ryan to see a 2 bedroom 2 bath at 3:30. Showed up at 3:30 and was told by another rep that Ryan was busy with other clients. Waited around for about 10 minutes and then left. I get it, things get busy - but at least acknowledge that the people you scheduled for a certain time (and confirmed with that day) are there. If I'm going to (potentially) spend over $43,000 over the course of a year on rent - i'd anticipate adherence to an appointment, or at least a notification ...that you'll be late. We received neither so we'll seek a residence elsewhere (luckily there are a multitude of options in the area).Property Manager Responded

Complete Disaster
May 4, 2021My experience at Bay Parc was absolutely terrible. My appointment was triple booked, with another person waiting, while the agent was with yet another person who was late because of a "medical emergency," but was still there, again, not her fault, she has to accommodate if someone is late. After an email, text message conversation AND call, the staff still was not aware of my needs - the same questions were asked again. I drove an hour to my appointment, and was told to park in "future resident ...parking" in which there were no open spots, so I had to park in a 15 minute "delivery only" space. That was a worrisome beginning to the visit. I attempted to navigate myself from the parking garage to the Lobby, with no signage or elevator buttons denoting the lobby. Upon arriving in the lobby, I did not know who to approach to let the leasing agent know I was there. Eventually, I asked someone standing at a podium, and she pointed me to the leasing agent sitting at a table with another person. After waiting a few minutes, I approached her and apologized for interrupting, but wanted to let her know I was there for my appointment. She apologized and said she'd be with me shortly. I waited 45 minutes - and was late for another appointment because of it - to be shown a completely gutted apartment while the agent described what the unit would eventually look like. I did not see an empty unit, or even a model unit and was surrounded by workers in what was a potentially dangerous environment for someone to walk through, at one point inadvertently kicking a piece of metal that was on the floor on the way to the gutted apartment. I then learned that there were no apartments available until July was given limited information on the actual unit coming available in July. The lobby was crowded, dodging maintenance workers, cleaning crews mopping with no regard for people around them, ladders and packs of small dogs all being walked around together. No front desk, no leasing office, leasing agent was just at a table - no office, no eye out for her next appointment, as she was with someone. The lobby from front to back was like the Port Authority terminal in NYC. When I asked if it was always like this, she said that it was a unique community of young, active people who love this. I am 37, young and active. Upon leaving, I was charged a $2 fee for "future resident parking." Don't care about $2, it was that after a disastrous experience, I couldn't even just leave.Property Manager Responded

Love My Home!
March 2, 2021Bay Parc has been an amazing place to live! I love all of the amenities, and it has made a great home for my Dalmatian and I! We love the dog park across the student and the pool is incredible! We moved to Miami for school, and I couldn’t recommend a better place to live other than Bay Parc!Property Manager Responded

I wish I could give it a Zero star rating
June 14, 2020I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. Absolute garbage place to live. During my time at this place, not only did I live in a never ending construction zone - it was the most poorly managed, roach infested trap house of a "luxury" apartment building I think you could find. Look, the refurbished units look nice and all but it is not worth it. We would have strangers knocking on our door at 4am & people asleep in the hallway in the middle of the night, or pounding on the neighbors door ...trying to get drugs. Security definitely not too much of a concern at Bay Parc. Meanwhile they focus their time on fixing the parking gate. For - and I'm not exaggerating here - about 5 months straight they were trying to figure this gate out. LOL. Thing was wide open for months for anyone to drive up in. I could go on. But I shouldn't have to. Don't live here.Property Manager Responded

Dangerous to live here
October 23, 2018Inside the actual apartment I have had minimal issues. The problem is the management. Elevators frequently don’t work and cause you to be late to work. Nothing is fixed until it is very dangerous. The Fire alarm on my floor wasn’t working and I only knew to get out of my apartment when there was a fire on my floor, because I smelled smoking coming in from the hall. Had to run down 39 flights of stairs. VERY, VERY DANGEROUS. Would not want to live here if I had children. Also, the parking gate to ...get into the parking garage, malfunctions about once per week causing residents to be late to work or wherever they are going. You call the front desk for assistance with things like these and they said “I don’t know when it will be fixed.” Additionally, front desk staff are often no where to be found and you will be waiting at the front desk for often 15-30 minutes if you need something. Pool is often closed without management notifying guests and front desk staff told me they do not know the pool hours. They also don’t mention that rent will fluctuate more than a few hundred dollars each month. Make sure to read the fine print in the lease agreement. I have been paying my own utilities through FPL and am ALSO charged to cool the “common areas of the building” at about $50 a month. You are also told that you pay rent and no other costs but after 2 months they started adding garbage fees to my rent. Rent is now about $400 more than we were told when we moved in. Lastly, when we moved in we were quoted one price for the apartment and then later told a higher price. Basically had to fight with the leasing office to get the price we were quotedIProperty Manager Responded

WORST BUILDING EVER
September 21, 2017TERRIBLE BUILDING, DO NOT RENT HERE. RESIDENTS ARE AWFUL, STAFF IS EVEN WORSE. FRONT DESK LETS ANYONE UP. NO SECURITY AT ALL. EXCEPT FOR THE ONES THAT SIT AROUND AND SECURE NOTHING. TERRIBLE SMELL THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PROPERTY. A WHOLE BUNCH OF FEES TACKED ON TO THE RENT EACH MONTH THAT THEY DONT TELL YOU ABOUT. Horrible Service and Facility
March 15, 2017Yes, the location is amazing! The building is near shopping, a supermarket, restaurants. But... its hard to describe the nightmare of living in this building. The staff of the leasing office is nice, they smile, and never follow up on promised action. Most have no idea what they are doing. All is well at first, give it a couple of months, until you have a problem with the apartment, then don't hold your breath with getting support. They take your money and run. Good luck getting to work on time ...with many elevators being out of service. Gym equipment is always broken. Bicycles get stolen from the parking garage. Its great that they welcome dog owners, but watch out for the puddles in the elevator and hallways. The entrance to the building frequently smells like urine. There are so many vacancies in this building and the location is so amazing you will be tempted to give this place a try. Rent here at your own risk! October 21, 2016This place is the unsafest apt complex you can find in Miami! Do NOT move here! They are always to going to rip you off. They stole my stuff from the storage! They charge $35 for storage and steal your stuff!! Then they clean their hands saying that they didn't see ANYTHING in the cameras! Two months ago a BMW got stolen form the parking lot and they said exactly the same thing! They don't care about the residents! They also charge crazy fees when you move out, they charged me $700 dollars from a ...really small stain in the carpet making me pay a total of $1,300 for my moving out... They do free retouch painting ONLY for the residents they want. The ATM never works, the soda machine that they have in the pool is always broken and take also your money and in the leasing office they don't care. The elevators are always broken and the engineering stuff are always high on drugs. When the convenience store was open I listened one conversation between two employees trying to buy drugs there. This building sucks
June 10, 2016I will give you few examples why NOT to live here: 1- From the 5 elevator your are lucky if two of them work. That means waiting times of 15 to 25 minutes to get into an elevator. 2-Bad security People come in and come out of the building(walking or driving) with out any type of security. I have have many many visitors and they never have been announced. Cars & motorcycles have been stolen. 3-Old appliances My cloth washer broke and they replace it with a dirty old one. 4-Fire Alarm If ...the alarm goes on, you never know if it is a test or real because the speakers don't work so you can not hear a complete word. 5- Poor management Each time that there is an issue. they never provide any explanation or solution.
