Good apartment and great staff!
January 11, 2019My wife and I moved into Bay Tree Apartments in March of 2018 and we were very happy with our stay since then! We are not renewing our lease but only because we are moving further north because of work. Cheryl and her team at the office are always responsive to issues and the maintenance team does a great job making sure you hardly notice that they came into your unit to fix any issues. Now the units could use some updating, the cabinets are ugly as sin but we have seen much worse after looking ...for apartments twice in two years. Overall the noise isn't awful considering it is an apartment, you're going to hear your neighbors from time to time. It is mainly when there is a loud bang like something fell off a shelf or a door is slammed. We had an issue with an unpleasant odor in the hallway and it was taking care of right away. Overall its a pretty safe neighborhood too! The secured entrances are nice as well. For the price, you can't really beat it. Our only complaint about the space was not having a separate eating area of our table but again it is our first apartment! For the price, you can't beat it!
March 21, 2017My boyfriend and I moved into Baytree at the start of our school-year, being that we're both teachers in the area, and are only moving out due to his relocation for Grad school. We've been extremely pleased with Baytree since moving in and if it weren't for him needing to attend school 13 hours away, we had planned on remaining here for at least another lease-term. C, the head Office Manager, is a wonderful woman and so helpful in getting you whatever it is that you need. Thanks to her, our ...move-in experience was as smooth as can be, and I'm sure our pending move-out will be as well. We haven't had many maintenance issues that needed to be fixed, but once we did put a request in, C contacted us within the day and the maintenance staff were out to fix the problem immediately. Unfortunately, the area of Dover itself is not the greatest, however, C is having safety locks with keypads installed on every building within the week. The interior of most of the apartments (the kitchen specifically) could stand to have some updating done, and things like blinds and bedroom/closet doors are pretty cheaply made, but overall, we've been extremely happy with what we've gotten for the price. Most other apartments in the area ask for much more rent, and don't offer nearly as much to their residents in return. Thankfully, we were also able to get the 5% discount on rent for working for one of Bay Tree's "preferred employers".Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great Apartment
September 4, 2015I love my new apartment. Love the location, close to restaurants , a couple of malls, the main reason I moved here close to state government offices for my job. The property is well maintained, beautiful swimming pool with outside tables, fitness center, clubhouse. Just off of DuPont hwy but not on the highway in a nice development where it's quite. Inside my apartment the living room is large with a private balcony, my bedroom is large with a big window (The entire wall is all windows) I love ...it. The bathroom is on the right side by a little hallway still in my room, the other side is my large closet, a small closet for my washer and dryer. I love it ! Will be my great home for a year! I also love the fact that their pet policy, I didn't have to put up a whole month, they have a bond program where you just pay 175 up front.
