Dont Live Here: A Military & Law Enforcement Perspective
October 19, 2023So I hate to be the one to write a review on the complex I live; however I feel quite disrespected and feed up with the current ability of the staff here at Bayview Towers. I currently function as an active Army National Guard Member and Police Officer here in San Diego & I have done my absolute best to remain patient, understanding, and respectful; however, it has been a month and a half and no one has reached back out to me. My stove stopped working, along with my apartment smelling ...electrically burnt all the time and, about a month and a half ago and Bayview said they would get it fixed, but no staff member has followed up with me or given me the courtesy or time of day to even respond to my messages. Even when trying to go to the designated on-site Office hours of Monday, Wed, & Sat, it appears that there is no one actually in the office, and don't even bother trying to call they won't pick up or return your messages. Along with maintenance issues there is clear security and safety violations present. For the past couple weeks there have been multiple homeless trying to hide and live on the staircase of the 12th floor, so on my off duty time I would go out of my way to contact local officers to have them leave the premises. So my question is, where is the response for the Bayview Towers Staff about this, as there is multiple families with children who live in this complex. I have done my best to constantly call, but it seems its in vain as it goes right to voicemail and no one will return your call, unless you seem to write a review, how sad. In addition, there is an excessive amount of cockroaches that come up the drains, so if you care about being clean it might be best to find a complex and staff who actually care. If you PCS or get stationed here in San Diego, my recommendation as a service member and Police Officer, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live. The staff doesn't care and just wants you to move in right away rather than work with you.Property Manager Responded

October 26, 2020Cockroach infestation. You will need to raid the apartment WEEKLY. People who do not belong in the building find a way in - and it is TINY. No full fridge and a convection oven so be prepared.Review from Apartments.com

June 4, 2019This place must have a serious cockroach infestation, we found them in our apartment on the 7th floor.. management is unhelpful once you move out, took 2 months to get the deposit back. Also a lunatic lives on the 7th floor screaming nonsense at the top of his lungs in the hall and acted aggressive towards my husband.Review from Apartments.com
