This complex is cute and fairly well maintained, but those are the only highlights. The UDR company recently started charging residents for a “technology package” that includes the unreliable, super slow internet service called GiGStream. If you work from home, attend school online, or need reliable internet for any reason at all, UDR and GiGStream will disappoint and frustrate you with the continued outages, delayed response to outages, and no compensation for the outages. complex removed the community computer and printer from the conference room / Ocean Club, but still requires residents to print physical guest parking passes or their guest will be towed. This is incredibly outdated and inconvenient. Of course, like most apartment complexes, the rent significantly increases every single year, but the “amenities” aren’t increasing or being improved. Overall, if you need a decent place to live and don’t mind unresponsive staff, unreliable internet, or paying the management company for services that you still need to outsource, then you should apply to live in a UDR community.
