February 23, 2026I would not recommended this place to anyone. Location and rent price are good, but your unit itself will have issues. Ongoing pest issues that will not be fixed correctly, thin walls in bathroom where you can hear neighbors clearly, unit having multiple issues before I even moved in, and more contribute to the bad living experience here. I was told there were no bugs and have dealt with cockroaches since day 1. Maintenance came by to “fix” the exposed pipes under my kitchen sink by making a mess ...and getting expanding foam all over my personal belongings. When I saw how messy of a job that was, and knowing that quickly spraying something wouldn’t fix the issue, the next thing they did was use duct tape. Many issues with the apartment that show lack of care. Broken drawers, slanted cabinets, holes in baseboard, cracks in flooring, I can go on. Staff is really friendly and is always willing to help. Amenities such as laundry on site, fitness center and parking within the building is great for convenience, while having the opportunity to live all of this without leaving the building!. September 1, 2025Nice Location. Great amenties, like that there's an inside fitness center in the building as well as a working space and laundry. Love hard wood floors that are more easily to clean and for bugs to not get in. I would like though that the painting of the inside of the apartment was done with a little more detail. I like the space, but even when I live by myself on a studio apartment it can get sometimes small but cozy, that's why I would prefer mostly for the bathroom to have more acessibility as ...it can get a little small to pass from the shower to the toilet and outside of the bathroom as the sink is a little big for accesibility in that area. I love the cabinets of the kitchen that they are white and modern. I would have like that there's a microwave included and that the sink of the kitchen is not that small as it can get crowded to wash and dry big pods at a time. Love the mini fridge. Like the space of the closet for being just a studio. Would like for the electrical signal to be a little better, as even though everything has run good, sometimes on a phone call the connection can be weak, do not know if it is because of the big walls or something else, I also tried out of my apartment on the working room of my floor and happened the same thing, though the connection was a little better. The staff of the company is always willing to help and are really friendly, really appreciate that. Would still ove that they would do more getaways for the residents!.Property Manager Responded

July 21, 2025So far I had like living at Beachwalk Apartments. Staff is really nice. Services provided are fine, though some changes could be made. Location is key for me, within my job it’s been nice, as I work near by, restaurants and cafes as well as walking distances and lake views are importante to me, something that Beachwalk gives me. Love that there’s a community room that you can use to study or work while you’re inside the facility. Love that Beachwalk cares for the residents and gives give seats ...and other things. Parking is a plus because it’s so tricky to find a spot to park on Chicago, on a reasonable budget.Property Manager Responded

The location is amazing walking to the zoo and beach and all the shops and restaurants so close by. The management and staff are so helpful and friendly. November 1, 2024Beachwalk is located in a vibrant location full of restaurants, bars, and the beach. A 10-15 minute walk isn't too bad especially since Fullerton (the closest stop) has 3 different lines to get around the city. For the apartments, I've got to say what wins me over is both Ms. Kennedy and Scott. They've been so helpful and quick with helping me out whenever a problem arises. August 5, 2024DO NOT MOVE TO BEACHWALK APARTMENTS. I promise you will regret it. The entryway may look like the place has had a fresh coat of paint, but there are so many disgusting and unacceptable issues with this apartment that building management should be ashamed. From an ever-presence putrid smell in every hallway, to cockroaches, drain flies, and other assorted bugs crawling around, to other tenants that clearly smoke in their apartments and get drunk in the lobby and harass you, to an incompetent ...leasing office, the list of issues is never ending.
