Unacceptable
January 3, 2022AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS. My lease ends in April and it cannot come any sooner. The management is very unprofessional, they do not respond at all. I needed rent assistance and did get the help from Texas Rent Relief. This was enough coverage for 3 full months. The office manager and I quote “forgot” to contact their accountant in a timely manner and I was charged a late fee because they did not credit my account by the 3rd- so through no fault of my own, I no longer have 3 full months of ...rent coverage. I was extremely persistent with both TRR and Bedford Oaks to ensure my daughter and I would have a guaranteed roof over our heads for the next 3 months- I am a single mother and full time student and like many have been struggling. They are now avoiding me, and I have been trying to contact them to get credited the late fee that was applied to my account when they made a mistake they refuse to own up to. Management does NOT CARE about anything but that check. Don’t let them fool you by being friendly at first as they try to get you to give them more business. The apartment itself is poorly structured and when I had maintenance come in to fix some problems, they didn’t even do anything but temporarily rig said problems. Best apartment choice
August 24, 2018Hmm well If I could give 10+ stars I most definitely would.. I was greeted by Edith who was amazing she was very pleasant and had a very welcoming personality. She answered all my questions I had about the apartment area although they didn’t have a model for me she assured me that I wouldn’t be disappointed. I did go online and I was impressed even without actually looking at it.. You can tell that the managers, owner of the property and the tenants care by keeping it clean. It looks well taken ...care of which is one of the things I first look at when looking for a new home. Although I did go during the day I just Iove how quiet and hidden it is. I’m close to a bunch of stores, restaurants, and not that far from the hwy. I know I made the right choice when picking Bedford Oaks. March 29, 2018So this review is base off my Leasing Experience with Jessica and Joan, I went in yesterday and express my needs to move in ASAP the soonest they could the apartment ready was Tuesday, but Jessica spoke with the property manager and I can move it Monday! DO NOT RENT
July 7, 2017The maintenance is terrible. They take their seeet time with any issues. I've been out of hot water for 7 days now and currently have to wait another couple days. The water damage in the apartment is terrible, and it doesn't phase them. They switch management every couple months it seems. The bugs are out of hand, everything I've tried doesn't work. I've only seen the pest control once since I've lived here, and I've been paying for it every month. The lighting outside is horrible, if your ...neighbors don't leave a light on, you can't see in front of you. Decent first place
December 3, 2016This is my first time renting on my own as well as living on my own and while I can't give them a fantastic review I can say that it's reasonably affordable, I feel safe here, and for a first apartment it's a decent first place. There are roaches though, and nothing seems to get rid of them, the office doesn't always follow through with maintenance as things still haven't been fixed that I've reported since I moved in. New management has been attempting to improve the apartments though, but they ...don't seem to follow through with some things. INFESTED WITH BED BUGS
July 27, 2016Our building is INFESTED with roached and bed bugs. I haven't been able to sleep in my own home for a week now because the office staff couldn't care less. Oh and they expect me to pay for the exterminator. DO NOT MOVE HERE.Review from Apartments.com
Ok...but not worth it.
September 26, 2015Good things I want to say about this apartment complex is that they are affordable, it comes with a free stackable washer and dryer, it is in a good location right off of hwy 183, and the apartment itself is very spacious. The problems I've had; roaches, roaches and more roaches. Their contracted exterminator comes out to spray often but the number of roaches seen crawling on top of everything does not decrease. There is a serious infestation. When maintenance is called they may or may not ...actually fix what is broken. I've had a leaky faucet that has never been fixed, a dishwasher that I can't use,and A/C that leaves much more to be desired since I've moved in. I pay rent online and on-time, but it was considered late one month because of their website. They called me 4 days after the rent was due and I was charged $100 late fee and their bank charged me another fee for a "bounced check". Now they don't allow me to pay with personal checks or online (even straight from my checking account), they also removed the dropbox.
