Great First Apartment
December 3, 2020I have lived at the Hons Apartments for about 5 months now. I did have issues with loud neighbors, but once I reported it the problem was quickly resolved. I have not had any problems with noise since. The walls are super thick and it takes a lot to hear anyone else. I love how everything is new and in working order, and I enjoy having a washer and dryer in my unit. I feel very safe (which is important for a young woman in her early twenties). The Best!!
December 2, 2020I have not a single complaint about Hons apartments. If I have any questions or issues they are addressed promptly. Building manager, Tom, is the kindest person and always greets you with a "hello". The building is very quiet. Best first apartment!
November 7, 2020I moved into a one bedroom + den in 2019, and was so sad to move out this summer after leaving my job. The units are quiet, I never had an issue with safety (and as a 22yo woman alone and four hours from home that was important) or management, and my energy bills were fairly low. Poor experience
June 3, 2020The windows are not set right with big gaps letting bugs in and keeping energy cost high. Informed management but nothing was done. Also, they cool air flows only in the living room if you want cool air in the bedrooms you have to keep your doors open (no fans). Can’t keep any property managers, cycled through 4 in a matter of months. Also, there is a one-way communication they’ll contact you but when you try to get a hold of someone they won’t answer emails. Management covers up break ins from residents
January 5, 2020One day I witnessed a couple people in the parking lot checking different car door handles to see if they could find an unlocked car to get in to. Reported it to management and they said they would review footage of parking lot. Never heard back, no notices or reminders to all residents to keep vehicles locked. Instead, a few weeks later they passed out newly REQUIRED parking passes to everyone which state the following: The acceptance of this permit relieves the issuer or agent of any ...responsibility for damages to or loss of vehicle, contents, or accessories from any cause. Instead of trying to keep their residents safe they were only concerned with covering themselves. Messed up.Property Manager Responded
January 8, 2020It is unfortunate that these things do happen but they do. Living in today's world you have to always be on the offense and protect your property at all times. If police are not called by the person witnessing the crime it is very hard to follow up or make an attempt to find the person. Our team at our security center do their best to review any activity out of the norm. We all look out for each other and that is why we have had nothing but positive place for our tenants to live.
