May 13, 2026Bella on Broadway is not a place I would recommend to anyone. Ever. Unless you like getting nickled and dimed to hell. They will find ways to do it too. Those fun new lights in the common space? You pay to keep them on. Billed monthly. I should have gone down and flipped them off every night. Want a working elevator? Of the 12 months we lived there, 1 or both elevators was down in 6 different months. Do you have a dog? Get ready to pay to have all your carpets replaced at a charge that is ...eye-watering! Ours is clean, never peed on anything, ever, and we still got to replace 100% of the carpets because they were apparently completely ruined. Oh, and we got charged for odor treating those same carpets which feels weird to me, you know? Why are we paying to have carpets that are ruined and needing replaced get odor treated? Management is awful. First they sent us a letter 4 months before the end of our lease saying we had 30 days to renew for a full year or we could get evicted. Felt a bit aggressive, but okay. I went to talk to Tovah, because at the time, we were on a timeline where the full year didnt make sense for us but we could do 6 months. We could even do 8. Tovah told me she couldn't do anything for less than 12 months because of WA states "new laws". She acted soooooo apologetic. How awful. Literally nothing could be done. Im still not sure what she meant there. Still cant find this new legislation restricting people from signing a lease less than 1 year. When I asked her what we should do, her honest to God advice was to just sign the new lease for a year and if we have to break it, do that (and pay a 3 month penalty of course, no big, youre good for that cash, right?) Uh, no. No way. Listen, Im writing this after receiving a pretty nasty email from them. I am bitter, I wont lie. But I dont usually do this either. I dont Review Bomb businesses. This one deserves it. I cant tell you how many conversations I had with other tenants that almost unanimously agreed that this place aint it. For one reason or another, every single tenant I talked to was dissatisfied and looking to move. One of my best memories of the place will be the day 6 of us got jammed up in the elevator as it clunked and clanked along for dear life, as we laughed about the entire experience. Great Location, Great Apartment, Great People!
April 21, 2026I've been living at Bella for just under a month, and I've been impressed since I first checked it out. Carlos gave me a tour and answered all my questions with a smile. Once I applied, he was very patient, understanding and pleasant, even when I forgot some key tasks during the process. My apartment has everything I need—space, comfort, privacy, and a fantastic kitchen. It even has a pantry! Of course, the location is wonderful. Smack-dab between downtown and the Stadium District, there are ...plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, parks and more within walking distance. My only complaint so far—and it's a small one—is the weird pseudo-balcony. You open the sliding glass door and there's nothing to walk out onto! Just a railing and a fence. Weird. Not a huge deal for me, but if you like to hang out outside your apartment, it might be worth considering. All-in-all, Bella is a great place to live.Property Manager Responded

January 15, 2026In 2022 I had the privilege of living at Bella on Broadway. Since moving back in 2025, my love for the building, its amenities, and the offerings of the surrounding area has grown. Words cannot express how wonderful Tovah and the Bella team are. Shortly after moving in, our dog passed away. The same day Tovah found out, a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card from the staff was delivered. Keep Looking
June 21, 2025They will tell you all the improvements they are working in tour but do not tell you the extent of renovations they are completing with no end date in site. Paying for a place where all the amenities have been ripped out. 1 of the 2 elevators never work, and the stairs is the absolute worst lay out. Poor Management Engages in Shady Practices
April 20, 2021This building is in a great location, and many of the units have fantastic views. Unfortunately, new management took over a few months ago, and it was all downhill. After a bumpy transition to the new team, I decided to move. Apparently, this management company charges vacating tenants for the cost of makeready for the next tenant. In all of my years renting apartments and condos, as well as serving as a landlord for my in-laws rental property, I have never charged or been charged for the basic ...costs of making a unit ready for a new tenant. I have always received my full deposit back, and I never charged a vacating tenant for anything other than damage. Under the new management at Bella, I was charged for cleaning, carpet cleaning, painting, and utilities. My sister's shady apartment manger in Everett did not even do that when she moved. Prior to moving out, I hired someone who cleans military housing so as to ensure I get my full deposit back; however that was money wasted. And, I left the unit cleaner than it was when I moved in. I have never had to pay or made a tenant pay for painting. I do not quibble much over the carpet, as I had not shampooed it myself. However, a few days after I moved in, the old spots from previous residents had returned (after I had turned in the move-in condition form). When I moved out, the carpet was no worse than when I had moved in. At this point, management has not provided documentation to back up their claim about utilities. While Bella is in a great location, and many of the apartments have great views, it is not worth the cost of management that will rake you over the coals when you move out. I would urge you to pay a little more for a more updated building with management that doesn't engage in shady practices.Property Manager Responded
