January 14, 2026Historically, living in downtown Hickory hasn't been possible, but BellaAge is now one of the few rental properties available on Union Square. It's gorgeous - a restored building used for common spaces and beautiful new apartments that look out over a courtyard or the city itself. The residents are friendly (it's 55 and older), and the staff are so kind and helpful. They make sure you feel included and really go the extra mile to create a sense of belonging and community. If you're a senior ...looking to free yourself of owning a home and you want to make your life more meaningful (simplified but richer), make sure to take a tour and see what's available.
