Cheap Rent Gets You Cheap Everything!

My boyfriend had moved into Bellefield Manor a year prior to me moving in the apartment with him. The property manager at the time of my move in told me I need to complete a rental application, which I did (and paid for). I was never bothered by him again so I (wrongly) assumed everything had checked out. When the NEW property managers were hired, I was told I yet again needed to drop off and pay for another application THREE MORE TIMES. After the second time, I stopped including cash in the ...
envelope (assuming someone was going thru the rent box for cash?) so maybe that was one of the problems but 4 times, seriously? Things only got worse after the initial property manager left and new ones were hired to replace him. The landscapers come every other week now with loud equipment that leaves a sickening gasoline smell in my house for literally days at a time. The previous manager used to walk around the property clearing storm drains, picking up debris, and tightening doorknobs but this doesn't happen anymore. One of the new managers walked in my house while I was naked in my bedroom, scrambling to get dressed since I heard a knock at the door. Instead of waiting for a response, he just walked in. This man is unkind when you need your apartment repaired. There is always conflicting information coming from the office or during inspections or from the property managers. I was told I couldn't have gas tiki torches on my deck because of a safety hazard, only to regularly see gas grills on neighboring decks. The actual units are grossly outdated, moldy, and extremely dusty. The owners and managers come thru the apartments at lease once a month. I've lived in apartments my entire life and this has been the most invasive and least secure feeling apartment I've been in yet. We've been here going on 3.5 years but we are moving immediately to avoid anymore nightmares here! If you wanted to rent here, it cheap and THAT IS THE ONLY POSITIVE THING ABOUT THIS PLACE
