On-site wash/dryer room, immediate response for maintenance problems, and emergency number for after hours. 2 pools, bus lines for easy commute. Close to police department, stores, an restaurants. A Fair Deal
August 11, 2015From the moment we applied to move in to the Belmont Apartments, the management has been friendly, helpful, and all around excellent. We did have some issues with both our plumbing and air conditioning early on, and in both cases, management was happy to send maintenance as soon as possible with no issues, and both times the problems were fixed and have stayed fixed. The location, convenience-wise, is rather nice as well. Living here, you're a short 5-10 minute drive from BART, groceries, ...restaurants, anywhere you may need to go. The library is well within walking distance distance and the EZ Stop corner store has a good stock and the employees are pleasant. There are Tri Delta Transit bus stops right along the apartments which I have found endlessly convenient as well. The primary downside to living here is that it's not a great neighborhood. We do hear gunshots regularly, and a drive-by has taken place practically right in front of our apartment. On our move in day, we were blocked on the way to our parking spot by police and an ambulence waiting to take a man with a gunshot wound. About a month or so after moving in, the apartment across from ours was broken into. If you move here, I recommend asking management about a metal screen door, as its rather cheap and adds a lot of peace of mind. Despite the abundance of children here, I would not recommend this place if you have kids. If you don't care too much about being in a sketchy neighborhood, I'd say Belmont is a fair deal. It's not easy to find places for under $1000 in the Bay Area (our rent is $975), and there are much worse neighborhoods around here. July 20, 2015Belmont Apartments are less than a mile from the Pittsburg police station and less than a block from an elementary school. The second floor apartments have vaulted ceilings. Some two bedroom apartments have fireplaces. The landscaping is mature and clean. There is a pool and several laundry rooms. The apartments are spacious and the management is very efficient, proffessional and friendly.Review from Apartments.com
