No one answers phones, website does not work, gates do not work, etc.
December 2, 2021No one answers phone in front office and office states phones do not work. Website where you are directed for maintenance does not work. Unable to get maintenance. The website that you pay rent on does not work and directs you to another site which does not have the correct apartment unit on it and states you have moved out. There is no security. Gate is left open on one side and the remote to operate gates does not work when gates are closed. There is no electrician or maintenance to ...handle electrical issues in closets with the ADT hard wired boxes that have alarm go off, get hot, spark, smoke and turn gray, the office staff say they have to unscrew those boxes because they only have maintenance during normal business hours. The place has many benefits if you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The gym and the pool gives you the opportunity to enjoy and relax during your time here. ROBBERY IS A COMMON ISSUE
November 1, 2018****RENT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK**** DONT LET THE FRONT OFFICE LOOK FOOL YOU. APPARENTLY **ROBBERY** IS VERY COMMON HERE. WE JUST MOVED IN 3 WEEKS AGO AND WE GOT OUR APARTMENT BROKEN INTO ALREADY....IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN A MONTH YET. ABOUT 5 MORE PEOPLE HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE IN THE PAST YEAR AND ALL THE STAFF COULD SAY IS " SORRY CRIME HAPPENS EVERYWHERE, ITS OUT OF OUR CONTROL. THEIR BASICALLY SAYING THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY. SO YOU ARE PRACTICALLY PAYING TONS OF MONEY HOPING NOT ...TO GET ROBBED. Great Apartment and Management.
September 27, 2018We have been living at Belterra for two years now and have loved every minute of it. The complex is in a great location, easy highway access, and close to everything we need. Anytime I have any issues at all the management team is happy and willing to help us out. They bend over backwards to make tenants happy and it really shows how much they care. I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. April 2, 2018We've been here a short time but we love coming home... Being new to the state and trying to find a place to call home can be hard but the ladies at Belterra made it so easy. Tiffany helped us see the floor types and helped us find the right apartment. On our first day Lindsey walked us in and when we walked in we found a welcome box with home goodies that was super sweet. The community is great it's clean and quiet (although is next to the hwy) I love the fact they have resident events and pet ...events it's a nice way to meet your neighbors. Great place to live!
March 18, 2018Even though I have only lived here for a short period, definitely a place I would recommend to anyone. The staff is friendly & I love the open parking spots where friends and family can come visit without getting towed. The property is very clean and I love the washer/dryer in the apartment itself to save on gas. Also when moved in, their little Welcome Home basket in the apartment was very friendly. Also very close to shopping centers & restaurants which comes in handy!Property Manager Responded

Constantly smells like weed
May 4, 2016A lot of the residents smoke week and now our entire apartment constantly reeks of weed. It is the worst. When we complained to the staff they laughed it off and just said oh no. I am a teacher and cannot risk having my clothes smell like weed.Review from Apartments.com

Nice Apartment, horrible staff
February 16, 2016We moved into Belterra a year and a half ago while it was still owned by Lincoln Properties. We LOVED it then. It was a great price, grounds were well taken care of, and the office staff was amazing. However, since the new owners came it has been horrible. They are terrible at communication, there seems to be a large staff turnover, and they are constantly leaving warnings for simple things. They ripped up all the beautiful magnolia trees and spent about a month repainting the exterior exactly ...the same color. When it didn't need to be repainted. One time, without any sort of notification, I had maintenance show up on my third floor balcony. They had simply climbed a ladder over and were peering into my apartment. When I contacted the office regarding my concerns over this the woman simply giggled and said oops sorry. Recently they decided they were not going to take money orders for rent anymore, which wouldn't be a problem since we normally pay by credit card, however our balance wasn't showing up on our account. When we contacted them to let them know it wasn't letting us pay since the balance wasn't showing, they said no problem they would fix it, but then still charged us a late fee. Our rent has consistently increased as well. For the price we are paying there are many more apartments in the area that are nicer and with better staff.
