Living experience was OK
May 31, 2022When I first moved here there were several car break ins and the leasing office did not notify the residents of the crimes that were taking place so that we could protect ourselves. Additionally, the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night which disturbs the rest of the working residents. People leave dog poop everywhere, sidewalks, street, etc. However, I do like the updates that Berkeley has made to the property & added a gate to the parking garage for security measures. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!
June 11, 2020They are clearly paying to delete the bad review because I am astonished they have a 5 star rating! DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I lived in Berkeley Heights for 2 years and could not wait to leave. There are consistent break-ins in the guest parking area so don't expect to ever bring guests here if they expect safe vehicle parking. In fact, there was one hit that damaged 28 cars! Management has done nothing to solve this and supply gated guest parking. In addition, management is understanding when they ...talk to you but there is never any action taken. I complained multiple times about a 2-3 times a week recurring noise issue that occurred from the hours of 12-2am and nothing was ever done. It went on for over a year until I finally left. The only good thing about this apartment is the location and the new paint - because it helps masks all the actual structural flaws. Save yourself and do not live here!Property Manager Responded

If you want to see water in half of your living room and live with ANTS
November 15, 2017We have moved in for about half year now and feel really annoyed and regret we chose here. Right after we moved in, even less than 2 months I think, we see our living room and my roommate's bedroom got flooded just because of heavy rain. Nearly half of our living room is in water and we live in 5th floor. Water even come in from the top of the balcony door. It just like it started to rain in your room. And their manager even told us this is something they have no control and refused to promise us ...we wound not see this issue anymore. We were glad this issue was fixed after they sent people here AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF THAT DAY. And they even refused to give us any thing after all the inconvenience we have been through. And in the recent months, we started to get tons of ANTS in our apartment. We have seen some ants when we moved in but they are not severe issue, even though we put a pest control request and they left us a notice said no ants are found. But now they are almost everywhere, on your bed, on your bathtub, and of course in your kitchen. Even my cat's food get ants on them, and I have to make sure she doesnt get ant on her and even eat them. Also, my cat's food is on a little shelf on the wall, and all ants just come from the locked machine room facing that. We have sent several pest control messages to them and told them several times and this problem is not solved at all. Also if you check clearly, ants can get out from all the corners, and even corner of the sink in your kitchen and wall in your bathroom. We called them in the night since we found the whole kitchen get ants everywhere and the maintenance refused to come since they said it's on the list. It's Doable
July 21, 2015Just as any other complex you can find many things to gripe about when it comes to apartment living. So, keeping in mind that there are many not so great things about this community, it's focus on the good: the location is amazing. You're right at the highway and can be pretty much everywhere (traffic permitting) in 15 minutes. Wal-Mart, Kroger, TJ Maxx, and Starbucks are right behind you. There's a dry cleaners downstairs.
