Takes 8 days to fix AC in Summer

I didn’t even want to leave a bad review because when I first moved in, I actually liked this place. Price was fair, community seemed decent, and it felt like a solid option.
But this completely changed my opinion.
My AC went out Monday (July 6th) during 90+ degree weather. I put in an emergency work order at 6 AM and maintenance came the same day and said it was the compressor. So they knew the problem right away.
I called Wednesday for an update and got told they were dealing with a warranty ...
and couldn’t give me a timeline. That makes no sense. If you knew the issue Monday, why not order the part then? This could’ve been fixed by the end of the week.
Instead, I’m being told it won’t be fixed until the following Monday (July 13th). That’s a full 7 days with no AC in July.
My apartment has been over 80 degrees during the day. They gave me window units, but they barely help and are clearly going to raise my electric bill. That’s not a real solution.
Communication has been terrible too. No real updates, just a random handwritten note on my door saying they’ll be back Monday with no details.
On top of that, after one visit they left my apartment dirty, left debris on the floor, marks on the wall, and even left a light on.
I understand things break, but the lack of urgency and poor communication is the problem.
I’d honestly look at other apartments. I wouldn’t recommend living here. It feels like they don’t really care about your comfort, or if they do, it’s the bare minimum to cover themselves.
Update: It's now not going to be fixed until Tuesday (July 14th) , even though the original note said Monday(13th). It's a very disappointing process, especially knowing it could have been fixed sooner if there had been more urgency instead of trying to save a couple of bucks.
