Blake: Where Berkeley Feels Like Home
March 5, 2024So, we've been living in Blake for about 2 years now, and we're really happy with it. It's a nice, modern apartment complex with everything you need. My favorite spot is the rooftop – they've got a BBQ area and a fireplace, and recently they added table tennis and a pool table, which is cool. Plus, they throw events and parties for us tenants sometimes, which is a nice touch. The management here is top-notch. The maintenance crew is always around, 24/7, and they're quick to fix any issues. ...Shoutout to Manager Ruby, she's awesome. She really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone's happy. I've never had a manager care so much before. She treats us like family and sorts out any problems super fast. Blake at Berkeley is lucky to have her. If you're looking for a chill place to live near downtown Berkeley, this is it. It's super convenient – you can walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, and the Bart station is close too. March 31, 2023Okay, I've never felt compelled to write a review for a rental but this one was necessary. I've been looking at apartment complexes in the Bay Area for a while. This one caught my eye; what a beautiful, clean, stylish building! Brand new appliances, sleek cabinets, lovely hallways, and gorgeous lounging areas. If you've ever come across leasing agents in other complexes that were unresponsive, here the carefully curated team (Ruby, Peter, Fausto) have been the exact opposite. With every ...interaction, the staff has been genuine, welcoming, and so helpful. Anything I asked of them, both Peter and Fausto went out of their way to help, support, or fix. I've never been in an apartment community (yes, because that's what this place feels like already, A COMMUNITY) where the staff has been so generous with their time. April 28, 2022After touring a dozen places in Berkeley, I must say that Blake At Berkeley stood out to me immediately from all the rest. My Apartment feels like a one of a kind unit, even with all the options available downtown now. The wrap around corner balcony is incredible the views are stunning. April 15, 2022It's a refreshingly bright, and welcoming place to come home to. My apartment feels spacious and light. It's a place where I can relax or work and opens onto a tranquil, courtyard for a visit with a friend or a peaceful spot to read.
