June 4, 2025New to Louisville four years ago, this was the complex I chose and haven’t ever regretted it. It’s a wonderful property and well managed. One of the deciding factors which always influences my decision in choosing an apartment is the maintenance. Their staff is fantastic! Very professional, responsive, kind and prompt. Any issues you have are dealt with immediately. I was relieved, as were many long-time tenants here, that when Morgan purchased this property, that the entire staff was ...retained. Too many times, when these sales happen, they’re the first to go. Glad to see they didn’t make this mistake for the future residents. The apartments are spacious and when empty; you have more than enough room to do your sound of music twirl. When filled with your stuff, you still have room to do your boot scoot boogie! The bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, and the kitchens are generous on storage. And can we talk about pantries for a moment? Wow! Doing my search for a new place, made me appreciate the one I’m leaving behind more and more. You’ll be pleased. My work will have me traveling soon and therefore my living needs had to change or else I’d remain. Tenants here stay for years and I can see why, I did too. You won’t regret this choice if you choose JTown and Blakenbaker Crossings to be your new home.Property Manager Responded

Gone downhill, price for value is WRONG
October 16, 2023This place used to be great, I've lived here for years, but they've completely run it into the ground. There are NO modern appliances, 10-15 year old stoves that barely get hot, refrigerator with rust patina that doesn't work. They refuse to upgrade or improve anything they have without massive rent hikes. They've already hiked rent 20% in the last two years with NO changes or improvements to the property. They are 30% higher than what an average apartment rents for in the city (one with the ...same square footage, modern appliances, nice floors, not old carpeting) and they refuse to upgrade anything unless you agree to further rent increases. Go ANYWHERE but here, trust me, you will save an enormous amount of money, have a much nicer apartment, and not have to worry about jerks deciding to raise rent for absolutely no reason other than they feel like it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 14, 2015This complex is in the east end in the Blankenbaker area. We have 1 and 2 bedroom units with some facing a small lake with a water fountian.. Pet friendly, dog park,playground. pool laundry if needed but units have hookups. The staff is very friendy and maintance is great. Units are total electric with ceiling fans and walkin closets. The area is very safe we have a police officer living here. Ther are plenty of restaurnts near by as well as retailers.Review from Apartments.com
