DO NOT MOVE HERE
January 22, 2018Pros: Great neighborhood, safe, quiet, cheap car insurance, grounds are well kept and they do snow removal immediately (often late at night when you are trying to sleep) but still it’s done. Oh and another good thing is that they hold your packages. Cons: I had to have my tub and sink replaced completely due to them being rusted out and paint peeling on them in large amounts. There was so much paint peeling in the tub my 3 year old son couldn’t even take a bath in it....It was completely unsafe ...and a health hazard and it was in that condition when we moved in. The sink in the half bath had so much rust it was not safe to use. The apartment manager Vanessa told me they could repaint everything but getting a new tub of sink was out of the question...however the maintenance guy came and said he was recommending replacements due the poor condition of both items. The door to the building does not shut all the way behind you (complained a few times still not fixed) so no secure building over here ... My biggest concern is: Water leaks into the apartment through the dining room window, yes you read this right when it rains out side it rains in the apartment, when the temp rises and the snow and ice melts it rains in the apartment....the wall beneath the windows has turned brown and soft, paint has peeled off around the windows seal in the inside ....I mean it is jus a hot mess....I called about this on two occasions and they sent maintenance 2 times on separate occasions and both times they each said I had no leak LOL.... so eventually the apartment manager came with a maintenance person they saw all the damage, saw the water leaking and said “this whole building has this issue and it’s nothing we can do about it, we may start making repairs this summer” ...so I asked the manger if she could speak with corporate about letting me out my lease and I also requested a mold inspector she said “OK will do” NEVER HEARD FROM HER ABOUT THESE ISSUES AGAIN.... Carpet is not new upon move in but cleaned and after a day of walking on it all the old stains from previous tenants started to resurface. I called them to tell them my dishwasher was not draining properly....Vanessa told me the dishwasher was brand new and that can’t be ....so eventually the dishwasher stop working finally received a new dishwasher 23 days after the work order was put in. You will regret it
September 8, 2017I recently just move out and I am beyond happy. They are not on top of getting things done in the office. My work orders are never put in, I had to keep reminding them that I needed them done. The manger is Never in office, the office staff can do anything with out her. They are very forgetful. Lakes and nature a plenty
August 28, 2015The grounds are beautiful, a nice big open courtyard and for the apartment dwelling pet parent there are courtesy pet waste bags on the grounds. The grounds are well maintained and just behind the complex there is an entrance to the nature trails that span for miles through West Bloomfield and other surrounding townships. Management is very helpful and the neighborhood is beautiful. The only thing that's lacking is the work ethic of the maintenance men. You expect things to break after time, it ...happens. But you also expect that when they do break the people who are paid to fix them will show up in a timely fashion to do it. All in all it's a great place for the price, especially in this area.
