Unlivable during heat, no accountability
August 28, 2025When I moved up from Texas into this apartment March 2025, the issues started right away — I had applied for a second-floor apartment, but they gave me a first-floor unit because mine “wasn’t ready.” My AC went out on June 11th, and despite repeated calls, I went nearly a week without air in 80–90° heat. No urgency, no updates, and I ended up having to sleep at multiple people’s houses just to escape the heat. When they finally “fixed” it, it rattled loudly and overworked itself to the point ...that my electric bill nearly doubled. Maintenance told me the unit really needs to be replaced, but management openly admitted they don’t want to spend $4,000 when they can just keep patching it. I was also promised reimbursement for the portable units I had to use for a month — almost two months later, nothing. They avoid giving me corporate contact info and even claimed the AC problems were my fault for setting the thermostat below 68°, which makes no sense. On top of all this, I was told rent would eventually be increasing because of “upgrades” to the property — yet the basics like functioning AC are still unreliable. THEY HAVE ROACHES!!!
May 24, 2024Living here for 7 months current resident until next week. So far I've had to contact maintenance on 4 SEPARATE TIMES at the minimum for the bug problem. I had baby roaches coming through my bedroom carpet, front office thought it was no big deal. As of today 05/24/24 my central air has been out for a week and I'm still waiting!Review from Apartments.com
A Wonderful Place to Call Home
December 14, 2017I have lived in Bloomfield Square Apartments for a few months now and I have had a great experience so far. The staff is excellent. They are always very nice and helpful. The maintenance team has also been awesome. They respond to matters quickly and fix any issues the first time around. The apartment complex is quiet, the neighbors are friendly and I feel very safe here. The apartments are well kept and they have some new, upgraded units. I have an upgraded unit and love it! The clubhouse also ...has a brand new workout room, which is nice. I hope to be a resident here for a good amount of time!Property Manager Responded

Wonderful Area, friendly staff, nice size
September 8, 2015I currently live in the Bloomfield Square Apartments in Auburn Hills. I have a 2 bedroom 1.5 Baths and it is really nice. Harwood floors in the dining area, kitchen and entrance hall. The staff is very friendly. The maintenance is second to none. They are very prompt when you call for a maintenance issue. The area is quiet and the pool is nice. The rent is very reasonable and the apartment is worth the price in size. I plan on being a resident here for a very long time.Review from Apartments.com
