They literally BRIBE people for good reviews online by raffling AirPods! Bloomingdale Woods has literally been a living nightmare. From rats and roaches, to constant leaks and flooding, to toxic black mold and horrible management. I unfortunately only found about these things after moving in but have pictures and proof of everything! Please please please do not move into this apartment community. It is cheaper than others for a reason. I was even constantly getting sick from the mold in the ...

apartment and my pets for severe allergies. This place was a living nightmare but I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Management is also coming extremely rude, sarcastic, and unhelpful.

I have lived here for over 2 years. This place is awesome!!! The staff is very friendly and efficient when something needs to be done. The location is close to many stores which is a plus. Anywhere you live you are gonna find issues and problems. However Bloomingdale Woods has consistently been there to resolve or fix a problem that I needed fixed. For that reason and it’s affordable price makes it a great place to live. Also it’s in a nice neighbourhood near Natures Way.

Rats, wasps, broken A/C, 1-week response time

The management here is friendly, but terribly unresponsive. They answer the phone 1 out of 10 times and don’t return phone calls at all when you leave a voicemail. I’ve lived here for 2 years and my A/C has broken 3 times. This time they said it would take a week to be repaired and haven’t returned my calls. I had rats in the attic and had to have a pest control guy come into my home twice a week, for 6 weeks to kill all the rats! The windows are single pane and have gaps that allow wasps to come ...

in weekly if you don’t find a way to fill the gaps. And the single pane windows allow tons of noise to come in, including the Daytona Speedway races that happen on Bloomingdale Ave every night when people are trying to sleep. It’s VERY noisy at night. So if you like noise, rats, wasps, no A/C and terribly unresponsive customer service, you’ll love it here.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I have had the worst experience with this place . In the beginning everything was perfect until new management took over. The other day we got a notice that the water would be shut off for two days . The manager in the office promised water would be back on at 4. It’s now 5. I am pregnant and literally shaking because I have not been able to cook myself anything . It’s gotten so bad now my mom is driving here to bring me to the ER. I have called them numerous times and there ...

lack of care and concern just blows my mind. I told the lady “I’m pregnant and shaking rn because I haven’t been able to eat .” Her response is well not our fault we gave you a notice . Excuse me? You gave me a notice for 4pm NOT 5pm. At this point I’ll make sure the hospital sends YOU the bill . I’m also filing a complaint .

This place is an absolute joke! The management is careless and doesn’t care about anything on the property as long as they are getting their rent on time. The apartments are DIRTY and the maintenance is just as clueless as the management. We moved into a dirty apartment that looked like it might have been vacuumed and that was it. There was a black ring around the toilet and tub when we moved in and it took me just lightly scrubbing to get it off so obviously they didn’t clean before we moved in. ...

There are wasps nests everywhere outside and if you ask the maintenance to come take care of it they will just say “oh they’re asleep they wont bother you”. I had to finally get WD40 and kill them myself. Our downstairs neighbor’s dog barks constantly and I’ve complained to the office 4 separate times and NOTHING has come of it. I am losing my mind in this slum and I’m counting down the days until my lease is up and I can escape. DONT BE STUPID LIKE ME!!! FIND ANOTHER PLACE!!!

The management is ineffective and should be replaced. None of the supposed renovations were completed on the apartment. Holes in the door jams where the locks should be. Front door doesn’t open an close easily as it’s not installed properly. None of the windows in my unit stay open and the carpet that they claimed was cleaned is FILTHY and smells of cigarettes. There is a termite infestation on the patio so there’s no chance of using that. NOT TO MENTION THE WATER HAS BEEN TURNED OFF FOR TWO DAYS ...

AND MANAGEMENT IS IGNORING RESIDENTS COMPLAINTS.

I can honestly say that I've had enjoyable experience my entire time here, but even more so since the new staff has taken over in the front office. The maintenance supervisor George is friendly and fast at responding to work orders.
